I really would like to know  how a 'blob of jam' type blood could survive for 3 days including being put in a car and taken on a journey, actually the car drive doesn't even count as the blood would have deteriorated and flaked away anyway.  How was it possible that it survived?
Perhaps it was the position it had been placed in the cupboard Maggie? I rather intrigued that the poker for the Aga was found in the cupboard as well?

No Grahame, it can't survive outside the body for very long before drying out.

scipio/Grahame  I think Jeremy Bamber was very confident he was going to walk free this is why he adopted his stance of being so cocky and arrogant.

Some people act like that even when they shouldn't because they can't help it.  That is why lawyers try to reign their clients in and try to control questioning of them.

People who act that way usually have insecurity issues and are so busy acting like an idiot they end up shooting themself in the foot. While I am being figurative for some jackass with a gun that can also be literal.  Many a gun accident has been at the hands of someone cocky and arrogant and thus careless. How often do you hear about accidents even from supposed experts.

A friend was dating a cop (she was as cocky as a male cop and though my friend hated cops she had a nice body and slutty little sister who joined her so that was that) and she drove over in her car and uniform one day and let us play with the car and see her gun. She dropped the clip beforehand. I grabbed it first and decided to make sure it was empty so pulled back the slide to look in the chamber- a bullet popped out.  If I didn't do that I guarantee one of my jackass friends would have fired the round somewhere in our house- probably into me because I have bad luck. Needless to say that took some steam out of her sails.  She hated me anyway though so it didn't matter. (My friends liked pot but she could not be around it as a cop so anytime they smoked she stayed in another room) I would not partake so it was just me and her. I tried talking to her a little he first time but she had no interest and would not respond.  I asked if she wanted to read one of our magazines or for me to trun on the TV or something and said I was annoying her isn't there something else for me to do. They eventually returned and asked us how we got along.  She said we got along well and though I was hitting on her, quite harmless.  I said she has as much personality as that plant, she just sat twirling her hair for an hour. (She really was, she sat in a chair with her legs crossed twirling her hair with her finger and doing nothing else) She gave me the most evil look I have ever seen and if she didn't hate me before she sure did after that. I am brutally honest, my friends have always loved/hated that about me because it is a double edged sword.  When you want to laugh your ass off watching me tell a dude 6'2" built like a linebacker that he looks ridiculous in a pink sundress and bonnet because he does and no one else has the balls to do it then it is great, but if you are a friend who likes that he dresses that way and embarassed by having someone tell him that then not so much.

She thought she was the most beautiful, best creature God ever invented and hung around with slutty friends who liked to party with crazy guys and that somehow made them feel good because they were being chased and desired.  To me that means deep down she doesn't really believe that and puts on an act to try to convince herself and others including looking for losers who will reinforce what she wants to hear.

Cockiness is an act and usually a sign of seeking attention.  People who crave attention try to garner it any way they can.  Such people never realize that people are laughing at them behind their backs and most of their relationships not genuine.

It is sad in a way.

scipio  just trying to figure out was your friend male or female and who was in the pink dress you have had some strange experiences in your young life :)but I do agree arrogance and being cocky are trying to cover up a feeling of a low self esteem and self worth and usually underneath lies a coward.

Scipio, my mother took great pride in telling the truth and, as she so succinctly put it, shaming the devil. When  I became less terrified of her venom, I asked WHOSE truth was she telling.

There are numerous ways of delivering truth. To the question "Darling, does this outfit look good on me?" the answer can be "No, it looks dreadful" or the more gentle and infinitely kinder "I think I prefer you in........................ because the colour/shape/ length is more flattering on you" Whatever the answer, it is, after all, just an opinion and the truth is our own, NOT necessarily other peoples'.

scipio  just trying to figure out was your friend male or female and who was in the pink dress you have had some strange experiences in your young life :)but I do agree arrogance and being cocky are trying to cover up a feeling of a low self esteem and self worth and usually underneath lies a coward.

One of my classmates was a gay magnet, she loved gay guy especially for some reason.  She always brought her gay friends around with us.  I would not make fun of  a female for wearing female clothing (unless she is as big as a house and wearing a size small so looks like she is going to explode out of them) it was a guy.  His gay friend wore a blue sundress and bonnet. Interestingly enough they were both after other men not paired together- I guess both wanted a manly guy and they were to be the feminine one. They were both taller and more burly than me and wanted a really tall guy.  They hit on my roomates and some others but not me luckily because of this. My roomates had girlfriends but were always cheating so it was humorous that they were hitting on them.  They cheated with some pretty ugly skanks but they had girl parts just wearing a dress doesn't cut it.

Actually...one of my roomate's friends who I hated (he was an obnoxious idiot) killed a crossdresser at a party.  He was on E and drunk and making out and I was like look he's kissing a dude.  He came over and bragged and told me I was full of shit insisting it was a girl.  Then the crossdresser and another put on a show and when they finished pulled their tops down so their fake tits fell out and you could see they were flat as a board.  That's when it finally hit him they were men.   He was an asshole the whole ride there but as quiet as a mouse the whole ride home as my friends ragged on him.  They spent all day long calling everyone we knew up and down the whole US East coast telling them how he kissed a dude.  I hated his guts and still almost felt bad for him.

Little wonder why I resisted a great deal of peer pressure and they could never get me to try any drugs with them.

These are the mild things mind you.  I have been to Mardi Gras and a bunch of other places.  If I wrote a story about my life it would be a best seller and shatter numerous marriages unless I changed the names and used a pseudonym to protect the guilty.

I will give you one more funny tale. One of my friends who was cheating on his girlfriend all throughout school (they saw eachother periodically when she would come visit or summers) finally graduates and goes back home and thus is with her daily and after a couple of months she leaves him- for a lesbian!  He met her when she had a 4 some with him and two of his buddies.  He said she was like a porn star the way she handled 3 guys so that is why he loved her and had to start dating her.  So for quite a while I teased him that he drove a woman who loved men so much to lesbianism. I love irony so this is actually my favorite one. She used to phone and ask for me because she knew I didn't like to lie and would demand to know where he was.  She would say tell him to call when he gets home no matter how late it is.  He would come home the next morning or afternoon and when she called again he would tell her I never gave him the message.  She knew he was lying and cheating. I just think it is extra funny that she stayed with him anyway and then after he was there with her all the time she got sick of him and became a lesbian.

Jeremy did say lots to Julie. As well as to other people. That was something he could not change.

Circumstantial, witness testimony is important, but would not be enough to get him charged. He believed there was no forensic evidence. However there was, not just the silencer.

However there was, not just the silencer.

How ridiculous there was no other forensic evidence ???

You do not know him, you have never spoken to him, you have never bothered to speak to any of Jeremys childhood friends,  if you take being cocky because he KNEW he was innocent I feel very sad for you.

This is not a game this is someones life and I have put myself out to find out all about Jeremy

Once again
He had no motive
He did not hate his family
He did not hate farming
He would not have told his girlfriend his carried out the murders then dumped her
Mugford was of master of deception and a competent liar

Sometimes if you have nothing useful to say its better to say nothing at all

The only genuine people on this forum are the ones fighting to get to the truth and I am more than halfway there
