He would have gone to the farm for breakfast. Interesting. I said that was unlikely when I created the thread. Do you have a source ?

That would put him right in the frame. There were no mobiles then so Jeremy would have to use a call box, drive to the police, or go back home and ring the police. He would really only do that if he had got into  WHF & discovered the bodies. Again rounding the suspects down to two.

If he simply could not get into WHF, he could have rang BW or someone else who had keys. They could have discovered the bodies together. That still puts Jeremy first on the scene.

Best to make up the phone call. Spend several hours insinuating Sheila. Get a raid team over. Then cry when the bodies are found. He should have been an actor.

"I said" "I've provided" "I've told you"!!!!!!!!!!!!! Which is supposed to tell us WHAT? On a scale of 1 to 10 just how important to any of us do you believe your opinion to be?

April try to contribute towards the thread. Rather than focusing on me.

Maggie made an important point. That Jeremy would have gone to WHF for breakfast. If correct it 100% explains why Jeremy invented Nevilles call.

No it doesn't Adam, not at all. A cold calculating killer surely would have stuck to routine. He always had breakfast at the farm but also farmworkers would turn up there, JBoutell farm secretary etc. It would be a hive of activity every morning.

Jeremys supporters say he was working 14 hour days at the time. Lookout even said 17 hour days. So perhaps a 5am start ? Would farm secretaries really be there ?

According to you he climbed through the window in the night so could just as easily in the morning. The fact you could easily get into WHF through various windows was common knowledge not a secret of Jeremy's. Innocent or guilty he would have been best to carry on as normal, surely if guilty make sure you enter the farm with someone else. He could easily have asked for help. Harvest time, loads of workers would be around first thing.

I dont know, she was a very loyal support to Nevill but farm workers would be there. Remember a key would be useless as the door was bolted on the inside.

That is correct. If he arrived at WHF and there was no response, he could get in through the window. Oh dear. There has been a massacre and the first person to know about it is Jeremy. Sound familar ?

Phoning the police from his cottage was his best option.

Although this massacre was indeed one of the MOST horrendous that this country has known,,,I can honestly say one thing,,that it WASN'T a " cold, calculated " one.

Instead,,it was initially a" drawn-out ", on the edge killing,,carried out in a frenzy with thoughts of loathing,,feelings of despair,,being let-down,,along with a conglomeration of thoughts and experiences from the past which sadly all came to a head.   A conclusion which is positively and most definitely possible.

The other farm workers were just that, farm workers. So doubtful they would be going to WHF for breakfast.

How many farm workers worked on WHF ? I have only read about one. He said Jeremy had said he would not share his money with Sheila.

the farm workers would not go for breakfast, they would turn up in the yard to be assigned their jobs for the day. Nevill and Jeremy etc would eat breakfast after all that . It was harvest time so extra help would be taken on but WHF was a big concern of course they employed labourers all year round.

Actually Mr THINK you know it all, at harvest time the farmer's wife  provides breakfast for ALL the workers because it's very likely that they would be on the fields HOURS before what's considered regular breakfast time.
