Adam nothing sinister in the phones June preferred the phone from the bedroom and that is why it was in the kitchen as that is where the phone was used the most.

Ohhh. June did not like the bedroom phone being in the bedroom. She preferred it to be in the kitchen. Strange.

So why not put the kitchen phone upstairs. Or dump it ?

Where did you read this please. Who did June tell ?

No one testified,  saying this at trial.

When all phones are coming off one line,,it becomes,,as the housekeeper once remarked," musical phones ",,as in musical chairs,,they could land anywhere. It's NOT an issue !!

Jeremy could not say Neville ended the conversation & put the phone down, as he knew he had left the phone off the hook.

The police finding the phone off the hook would then mean Neville phoned someone else. But no one would have come forward.

How do you know whether the police left the phone off the hook,or not ? Afterall,,they used that same phone themselves. There's quite a lot that they did,,but Jeremy still got the blame. He was their patsy, you see,,an easy target.

It was an issue. Discussed in court, meaning it was discussed by the jury.

That's it the police apparently used the phone. Why would they not put the phone back on the hook ?

An unnecessary issue just to stretch the case ! The whole thing was a farce, besides being a tissue of lies.

I'm not sure if they left the phone off the hook or not? But it is a fact that they did use that phone to phone headquarters, thus altering the crime scene by that very act.

If the police can move a body around,,they can also leave a phone off the hook.

Why would they not use their radios ?

And why did they need to use the phone. There were several police at the scene. Were they ordering a pizza ?
