Sheila had run out of her procyclidine which counteracts the effects of her medication haloperidol. Without this she would have been very shaky and uncoordinated (as described by various witnesses) and would not have had the control needed to get off 25 shots without missing one never mind trying to reload an awkward magazine in between time.
It's my understanding that because the Haloperidol had been reduced, in one fell swoop, to CATASTROPHICALLY low, unsupervised and dangerous levels, she was doing as many schizophrenics do under similar circumstances, AND as evinced by her mother the previous day, she's forgotten to take the medication she took in tablet form. She was certainly NOT in full control over those last days as witnessed by others. She attacked the visiting workman, screaming at his to get off HER(?) property. She ran screaming from the monastery but in between these episodes seemed to retreat into lethargy, showing, according to her mother, no interest in anything, including her children. There has, thus far, been said NOTHING said about her being shaky and uncoordinated. Her nails were said to be perfectly manicured and whilst I can't vouch for that, it's no more than I would expect for someone who has attended modelling school.
