If it does say that I wonder where these "Jeremy is a crack shot" remarks come from?

I don't need it bigger LOL - just could not read the writing . It says something about he explained some "facts" to them then they seemed happy with his explanation?

Just wondered what those "FACTS" were .

It does make you wish the notes and statements were more  detailed  :(

Hi jansus,

the facts extracted from Jeremy on this occasion, relate to only 20 bullets missing from the box of 50' found on the kitchen worktop, police asked Jeremy where the other five bullets that were fired in the shootings had come from? Jeremy told police on that occasion, that there were already some bullets in the ammunition magazine before he had loaded the gun with additional rounds from the box being spoken of...

Police were satisfied with his explanation regarding this...

They also questioned Jeremy as to whether or not the silencer was fitted to the rifle when Jeremy last handled it on the evening prior to the shootings - Jeremy told police it was not fitted to gun on that occasion, he also told them that he did not know who had removed it, after police reminded him that the silencer had been fitted to the gun on the penultimate week-end when he was target shooting with Anthony Pargeter, behind the barn at whf...

It appears the police got themselves into some sort of a pickle regarding the silencer taken into DS 'Stan' Jones possession (SBJ/1) from the scene on 7th August 1985, since DS Jones took possession of the wrong silencer at the scene on the first day of the police investigation - he took control of the Anthony Pargeter silencer, not the Bamber family owned one...

This mix up, effected what relatives were telling police about the possible use of a silencer in the shootings, relatives believed the Bamber family owned silencer was the one police had possession of from an early stage, which had been used on the gun during the shootings, but it turned out to be the wrong silencer, a mistake that wasn't rectified until over a month and a half later (after, 11th September, 1985)...

What came to light, during the first phase of the police investigation, was that all the relatives with the exception of Anthony Pargeter, and police (including DS 'Stan' Jones), was that there was normally only a solitary silencer kept at the scene, not two different identical ones...

Lets get the now known facts right, on and by 9th August, 1985, DS 'Neil' Davidson, had fingerprinted this silencer (SBJ/1) with a view to establishing who's fingerprints had been present upon it, to try and show who might have been responsible for taking it off the Anshulz rifle barrel, and transferring it onto the barrell of Anthony Pargeters .22 Bruno bolt action, found in the downstairs toilet...

Therefore, by the time David Boutflour, finds the second silencer in the office cupboard, on 10th August, 1985, police are already treating the other (SBJ/1) silencer as a key piece of evidence, even so far as to go to lengths to try and establish who had been responsible for removing it from the barrel of the Bamber family owned rifle...
