"On the far side of the bed" can also mean on the floor. Don´t get mad at me!

In the police logs, it is reported at 7;38am that "the body of one dead male, and the body of one dead female had been found upon entry to the kitchen". At 7;41am, a message was past for the "police surgeon, and coroners officer, to be contacted regarding two dead bodies". At just before 7;45am, a civilian employee who was working in the control room (Linda), contacted DS Davidson (SOC) at his home, and informed him that police at whf were dealing with a murder, and a suicide". By 8;10am, police inside the premises reported that a total of five dead persons had now been found, and that in addition to the two bodies already found downstairs, that a further three bodies had been found upstairs". Of course, no one could argue that these messages had not been passed, or even that it could possibly mean that the female body referred to, as found in the kitchen upon entry to the premises by the raid team, was that such a female might have been found on the bedroom floor. I believe that there can be no mistake either, in PI 'Bob' Miller, Dr Craig, or DCI Jones accounts, where they clearly report seeing Sheila's body on the far side of the bed...
If Sheila's body had been on the bedroom floor, when viewed by Miller, Craig, or Jones, it would have been the easiest thing in the world for any of them to simply say, "A female body, on the bedroom floor - but it doesn't...
