What isn't necessarily so?  She gave him money in the past.  The initial time she gave him money either he asked for the money or she volunteered it and he took it.  Those are the only 2 possibilities. Since then he periodically asked her for money including the 4000. She said he asked her for it.  It is pretty obvious that the reason why he asked her is because she had given him money in the past. It is obvious that she is the only person who had been giving him money and highly unlikely that she would be the only contributor he asked to give him additional money and never asked any of the other contributors for additional money.

Sorry?  You said he had no doubt approached others who had given money in the past and I said 'not necessarily so'.  You are making assumptions about Jeremy Bamber's behaviour because it fits in with your theory.

It is documented that he has many benefactors, he couldn't afford the various experts on his own.  There is no guessing involved that other people gave him money.

Scipio, I have just posted that I know of several people who have given money or paid for tests etc.  I am not disputing that people gave him money just questioning your ASSUMPTION that he went to them for money on this particular occasion.

Daisy, according to his FB page, is just ONE of 728 "friends." It wouldn't be unreasonable to "assume" that one or two of them have donated cash gifts from time to time.

I know!!  I wish scipio would read people's posts properly and not just jump in lecturing them.  I NEVER said he didn't get financial help!!  I said I KNEW he DID.

After his failed appeal bid in 2002 he offered a million pounds to anyone that could prove him innocent  :-\   wonder where he would get that from?

For all we know it could have been his campaign team that "raised funds " from donors,.

And if someone had come forward I bet the newspapers would have paid a fortune so perhaps he would have used the money from that or a book to pay the person. It does not mean the money existed at the time?

The hope is that people would believe he would get a great deal of money from the government or media deals and thus be able to actually pay it.

The perception of whether he can pay is more important to him than whether he could.  The worst that could happen if he lacked the funds to pay is to be sued but what would he care if they sued him so long as he was out of jail?  Debtor prisons no longer exist.

Well if you did somehow have undeniable proof he was innocent he would get a hell of a lot of compensation I guess. I couldn't imagine how much

could you imagine how much a book deal would be worth?

I don't know if you have read the book picking cotton , about the MOJ in America. They even do lectures about the case.
