I finally finished the curtains, did it myself, and I am a little bit proud, because they look STUNNING. I am very pleased with the outcome!  ;D They do wonders for the room they are in!

This fabric is truly beautiful. The curtains are from ceiling to floor, so they are rather large. I have put a lamp beside them, so they can be seen properly, there is a slight shine in the fabric, not too much, just right.  :D

I remember having a firescreen passed down to me. That was a William Morris fabric,,and an old birds pattern, pretty dark and Victorian. Being young and disinterested,,I gave it away----------ouch !
Mind you,no fireplace anyway,so I wouldn't have had any use for it and it was getting moved from one part of the house to the other.
I wished I'd hung on to it just for its antique value. Though it would have been ruined with the nicotine. ;D ;D

Hi Alias, love your curtain material  ;D

Have heard a lot about your adopted city on the radio this week due to a certain event taking place tonight.
Sounds a great place to live  ;D

Thanks, Maggie!

I love Copenhagen! It is fun and relaxed during summer, and it is very beautiful too.

We had a photo of The Little Mermaid hanging on our wall at home when I was growing up, my Auntie went to Copenhagen for her honeymoon and brought it back, so she was always a part of my life  ;D ;D

Yeah, should take a picture....  ;D

The butter is nice - I like it salted though. What I love more than anything is cocoa with white bread and butter - not too healthy....
