Given that they WERE his family and he shared supper with them, he's correct in saying that he was the only one who knew what happened, up to the point he left.

Good answer. But we both know Jeremy was not referring to supper.

Adam how do you know what Jeremy meant.  People can make comments and they can be taken in so many different ways by different people.  I suspect Jeremy meant he knew what had been discussed at the table nobody else did.  Had he committed the murders he is not going to be shouting it out to everybody is he.  Think about it.

Well unfortunately that tells me a lot about the way you think. Do I believe it? Yes because it is in the book.  ;D ;D ;D ;D
Why has no one sued for libel? You really are ignorant of the costs involved in libel cases aren't you? Jeremy went up against the Eatons regarding the caravan park remember. He unjustly lost his case against them and also it cost him his share in the caravan park. There is just one example of the enormous costs involved in libel cases and none but the rich can succeed in suing in cases like these. Alas this is just one more thing that you need to do more research on things instead of allowing yourself to be spoon fed by these silly money digging "novelists" who if they cannot get real witnesses make up things just to keep their sheeplike readers interested.

Perhaps Rimmington could come out publically & say 'Jeremy did not say this'. With this high profile case it will be reported in the media. Or she could support Jeremy in his appeals.

Poor people have sued before. They will only do it if they are pretty certain they will win.

People are always disputing that foster care had been discussed during supper, as Jeremy claimed (even though the twins HAD been in foster care earlier, so I cannot see why it should be so improbable.)
Jeremy could very well have been referring to the conversation at that supper - he was the only one alive who knew what took place or was discussed, the moods etc.

Why withhold information on what was said at supper ? Unless there was really no mention of Sheila's children being put into care.

Adam he did not withhold information discussed at supper maybe with Liz Remmington but he would not discuss family business with her.

I agree Wilkes book is good in that he outlines the case pretty well, but unfortunately it is now very dated. So much more information has come to light since then and an updated version is long overdue imo. Paul Harrison's upcoming book will be well worth reading. He is a highly acclaimed author and has interviewed many people that were involved in the case. I'm looking forward to reading it.
So am I tyler, think  he's approaching the case from a different angle think it will have a lot of new information. Can't wait to read it.

Hello tyler

I agree Paul's book will have so much new information in it and his research has taken him to New Zealand, Canada and America and suspect it has taken many years will be well worth the wait ;)

Adam it is not relevant whether or not Mike has been to New Zealand I know he has been to Barnsley.  You will be surprised what new information is going to be revealed.
