Simon Hall will probably now face years of incarceration due to the dynamics drastically changing.

Stephanie Hall would be good working for the organisation called inside doubt where she could help real miscarriages. Her years of experience will then be put to use helping others.

The whole saga is so sad, leaving so many traumatised

Communication broke down and simon stopped writing and doing anything. No wonder really as he couldn't cope. I saw him once and he was not the guy I remember at school.

Do you think communication broke down because of the drugs?

When did you see him? What was he like?

Can you tell us more about this MrsTiggywinkle? Though I have a feeling you are grabbing at straws. What year are you talking? Surely if someone was imprisoned for it then SH couldn't have been responsible?

I don't recall SH name being given for any other murders, though I am aware he used an alias.

It seems the confession by SH has opened a hole can of worms for the Hall family. I wonder what other 'secrets' they are sitting on?

I'm not grabbing at straws at all. As I said I was there for three years plus and knew an awful lot of people. Or was that a lot of awful people?

As far as I can recall, the other murder was committed between 1992 and 1997 - the culprit if remember correctly was a drug addict. I think the victim had gone to live with him in Ipswich which is where it took place.

However, as I kept in touch with a number of people from Capel, when the second murder occurred although it obviously wasn't Simon Hall, several people suggested Simon's name and also suggested someone else's name who lived in the village and who died in the 90s (I worked with him).

When Joan Albert was murdered, a good number of people rumoured it was done by Simon Hall before the police grabbed him.

PS. I actually had an affair with two people in the village; one was hardly an affair and was so brief I hardly recall it.

Ever heard of the group 'Hedghoppers Anonymous' ? - in Capel St Mary it was 'Bedhoppers Anonymous'

Can you provide details in relation to this murder? SH was in prison during some of that time. I wonder if his brother, who is a member of this forum, can answer this?

I have given you as much as I know about the 'second' murder above and in reply 689.

It isn't of course a Capel St Mary murder, but the murder of someone that used to live in Capel.

I could give a tiny bit more, but that may not be fair if I have the identity of the victim wrong (although I don't think I have).

Is there a news article relating to the crime?

I do not believe SH was involved in any other murders. His confession was detailed and I believe this was his opportunity to come clean.

There was. It would have been in the EADT / Star or the Daily Mail. Take a guess at the EADT, maybe?

If you know anyone in Capel, they should be able to tell you who she was.

Don't forget that were several unsolved murders in the Ipswich surrounding area during the same period.

I'm not aware of any? Many people did research in relation to murders around that time period. You may be mistaken?

I can see he made a statement suggesting he was guilty but I can only guess it was for parole next year right?
Silly man through it all away.

Why would an 'innocent' man confess to a crime they didn't do for parole? SH was not deemed a risk, hence why he was in open prison conditions. He had completed several courses based on previous index offences. As already posted, he was due out on licence within a matter of weeks/months. I very much doubt he would have had a problem up against the parole board the following year.

Why do you call him 'a silly man' for throwing it all away? Do you think he should have kept his mouth shut? Is that what you are suggesting?

I'm not mistaken. But just to be clear, I'm not a murderer either.

I can think of at least three unsolved murders from 1987 to approx 2000 (possibly later), plus the one that I have referred to.

As I said, if you know some Capel people that were there in the late 80s and 90s, ask them about a woman that lost her house and moved to Ipswich.

Her picture was in the paper with the murder article, that is why I am so sure.

I heard she caused a lot of trouble and even sent fliers out with people's names on she accused of the murder when she knew apparently.
Anyone know what's his current location?

To be clear on this point. It wasn't a flyer that was sent out but a copy of a crimestoppers report. I believe legal advice was sought prior to this event taking place.
SH told his wife and others he believed these people were responsible, as I believe did the mother of SH. In fact she gave these names to many people in the village and MOJ organisations over the years.

PRISON.

Quite the opposite, I think they believed in him but couldn't handle his actions. I think the wife made it up and in his deluded state he went along with it. It's just what I think in the things I have read.

How do you know simon truth seeker?

Please explain what actions you are referring to?

Why would 'the wife make it up'?

Are you for real?
