"Victim playing (also known as playing the victim or self-victimization) is the fabrication of victimhood for a variety of reasons such as to justify abuse of others, to manipulate others, a coping strategy or attention seeking."

Hi Truthseeker :)

There is no kind way how to say this, but please can we have some closure to all of this.  I doubt anyone is interested in this case anymore if truth be known.  Its time to let it go I think, there is nothing anyone can do now.  :) :) :) :)

By your own admission on many occasions you have never been interested in this case therefore I'm unsure why you are posting on the thread?'

However, in answer to your question;

There is still much speculation surrounding the confession made by SH therefore I am here to set the record straight. If you have a problem with that, may I suggest you don't read the thread.  :)

Firstly I have a right to post on any thread that is posted on this forum; just as much as you have a right to post.  What I am saying is that you are revealing stuff that is personal to a family and continue to name names and accuse people of false doings, surely this should stop.

We try to be not name names on the Bamber threads so why should this thread be any different.  One has to stay mindful.

Please tell me how you can set the record straight on a forum by posting alone on a thread where there is no interest, or are you trying to bring it on with certain members for your own gratification....to cause bother.  I'm telling you straight because this is how I view it.  Do you really love the arguments  ;) ;D ;D ;D ;D

I'm only interested in facts Patti not gossip.

It's hard to believe there are some individuals on this planet who do not care for nor have compassion for others but it is this marked lack of empathy that is a hallmark characteristic of individuals with psychopathy and other personality disorders.

There are many people who are interested in wrongful convictions, you are one of those people. You spend days/months/years posting on this forum in order to establish how a wrongful conviction can occur, do you not?

In the SH case, we now know he was guilty all along but you need to be reminded of just how many people and organisations he duped and for how many years. This was a high profile case that had already been sent back to the Court of Appeal once.

If you read the comments of this article, http://thejusticegap.com/2013/09/simon-hall-confession-a-time-to-take-stock/ you will note David Jessel states, he actually believed Simon Hall to have been innocent and not on a technicality.

This is a learning process for many people. See further article; http://thejusticegap.com/2013/09/keeping-perspective/ . It still isn't clear to a lot of people why SH maintained innocence for all those years and finally confesses some 11 years later.

This will happen again with other cases, as history has shown.

I ask the following questions because I believe they require answering. I am not asking the questions for any other reason other than I, and thousands of other people/organisations, have a right to know the truth.

The family of SH and SB fell out in/around 2007. What were the reasons for the falling out?

(I don't know why her name needs to be abbreviated for this forum, if you read the articles I've posted above, her name is quoted there for all to see and I doubt very much she has objected?)

Then on/around the time of the referral back to the Court of Appeal, they are once again 'united.'

We know the family of SH appear to have never been actively involved in any campaigning? Why? Why did they always appear to take a back seat yet would make statements when there was news?

Why did the family always appear to be opposed to 'the wife?'

Why do family members of SH now appear to be aggressively doing all they can to shut down any discussion on this case? This isn't the first time either.

The brother of SH is a member of this forum. His mother made a public statement following the confession stating she believed him to be innocent. What is her stance now? Surely the brother of SH is prepared to answer this question?

Because whilst people like her allow speculation to continue, more harm is being done imo.

If the mother still believes SH to be 'innocent' what steps has she made in order to establish this?

Will she support SH in her belief of his 'innocence?'

Does she plan on making a future statement of retraction?

I recall someone posted on another forum a comment made about Tiernan Coyle and how his findings had been incorrect.

I have a screenshot of this comment and I believe I know the identity of the poster.

I wish to learn what that poster knew and how they knew what they knew and why they sat on this knowledge.

The poster called themselves Stephanie Hall's Wig and they made this post a few weeks prior to the confession.

we dont know anything about the circumstances of simon halls confession i do not think we can say for a facts it was given voluntarily.

I can confirm the confession was indeed given voluntarily. SH was deemed, by several professionals, to have been of sound mind, with no mental health problems.

Hi. SH confessed. They were removed from the WWW out of respect for the victim and the victims family.

Do you know much about the case? Ive read up on a lots so far but most seems a bit of a struggle.
Is his wife still a member here? I think she knew more from what I have read .
