Gabe Tan is female. Michael Naughton does not actively participate in the daily activities of their work. Gabe Tan's credibility was shot down in 2010.
So was Tiernan Coyle's fibre research on the case,if I remember correctly?

Gabe Tan had doubts/concerns regarding the fibres as she stated that they were susceptible to contamination not having been collected until 6 months later.

Im pretty sure that the new submissions included alleged evidence that the crime was commited by two other individuals and also the connection with the knife from the Higham burlary. If this is not correct,I am sure somebody will put me right.
If JB's alibi was for Simon was false,it is possible that Simon could have been responsible for the Higham burglary too? Fingerprints would not have been an issue if gloves were worn.
If Simon is guilty as he has confirmed, then imo it was a very dangerous game that was being played in trying to stitch up these other men for the crime. According to Mrs Hall's research, these 'alternative suspects' were fairly dangerous criminals. She also named them many times on the internet.
There could very well be a connection between the these 'alternative suspects'being accused and Simon's confession. Obviously Simon is incacerated with other criminals and, believe me,word can soon get into and around a prison!

I forgot about that episode. The ramifications could be quite serious.

I have no sympathy for her whatsoever, she knew what the score was when she married him and has spent numerous hours attacking people, being about Simon's case and being vindictive towards everyone and anyone. I find any sympathy shown to her to be naive  and ill thought out especially since the last think she did was to beg money from people via the internet. She also said she'd had donations, donations from people who probably thought Simon was innocent, so I hope she's paid it all back.
I also cannot be sympathetic to Simon's 'mental state' either, he chose to take illegal substances and also chose to take umpteen Zyban. The whole point of open conditions is that you are taking a step to freedom which includes following the label on prescriptions.
There has been little though about Stephanie Bon who did truly believe Simon to be innocent and was there for him when he needed it, she spent considerable time trying to get support for Simon, Rough Justice took Simon's case on and it cost Miss Bon several thousand pounds yet she remains dignified and this has been devestating to her, I have compassion for Miss Bon because she is dignified and run her campaign for the right reasons.
This case makes other miscarriages look horrendously bad and has cost a hell of a lot of money, time and good will of a lot of people including Michael Mansfield QC et al.

That's a bit below the belt Joanne01. SH has been under daily pressure for years. Seeking donations to maintain her campaign is hardly "begging".....rather cruel of you to allege this me thinks. It really seems like "sour grapes" because SH dismissed you ...once she had done away with your services.

Please don't pick on Joanne. After the vile abuse she had to endure from Mrs Hall I'm not surprised Joanne feels the way she does!
