I would have also thought there would have been an explanation as to how this all came about.

Hollingsworth, from his research of the case was convinced that two other people were responsible. It may be that he has stumbled upon SH's accomplices?

Yes, I had noticed that until today. The thread is meant to be to discuss the Simon Hall confession, not to vent personal opinions about present or former members. Also, please don't use the open forum to display any members personal details  including Facebook pages, maiden names etc.

I'm not aiming this at you Nug, your post just seemed relevant to the message.

Cheers!!

The name is in the public domain so did not see any harm but apologies for that.

Could be but he seems as shocked as many others are.

he must of had at least one and as far as i can see they could only have come from his albi witnesses.

Perhaps it is and if people wish to go looking for it, that's up to them. If people wish to post 'their own' personal details, that's their business (although I wouldn't advise it). Better if we all just stick to the topic given how volatile it's been in the past.

Cheers!!

There has been no explanation as to why this happened, or how.  After all the years of support from people they get kicked in the teeth.

I would like to know what happened to the donations Mrs Hall said she received for her "innocent" husband, she said she needed this to help to carry on the campaign.

Simon Hall for whatever reason has admitted he is guilty to the murder of this poor old lady.
As has been said already, he must have had an accomplice.  Which means at least one other person must have been lying about the alibi.

He said in January he was embarrassed by the robbery he confessed to, but not embarrassed by the murder because he did not commit the murder.

For all these years Simon Hall has said he was innocent. There was much written about how innocent he was by his wife and then by him in blogs. It was stated that they knew who the "real killers" were

So many people have been left upset to say the least.

This confession has huge ramifications for everyone else fighting an injustice.

The damage done for others who may be truly innocent is perhaps irreparable.

There are too many unanswered questions.

The Justice 4 Simon campaign should issue a statement explaining to supporters.

you are absolutely right Michaela, where is the explanation?? she had so much to say previously, attacking everyone who disagreed or asked valid questions..so whats she got to say now? she was soooo good at up-dates and heads up so to speak..so now she just sticks two fingers up at everyone who gave her and him the time of day..makes me so angry they have used every one and yes where are these funds people donated? and donated for what? what costs was she talking about?

Excellent post Lugg.  Very well said.  :) :)

I thought the same up until this afternoon when I called her to see if she was okay as was concerned for her..but after the response I got she can go to hell, she was completely spiteful and nasty, (so she's obviously still with him and supporting him without any consideration for the Albert family) she is bitter about other moj's and accused Duane of being guilty..as in her vindictive mind..she alledges that I am just like Simon's mother and accuses me of being a narcarcist just like simon's mother??yeh okaaaay..they fooled everyone..and have made a mockery of and undermined the true victims of a moj..but in no way should either of them disrupt or undermine true cases of a wrongful conviction..she owes everyone an explanation at the very least..she had so much (too much to say previously) so what does she have to say now??

so where's the money gone to? costs for what? after posting an appeal for an 8yr old family member in Barbados fighting for her little life..for the Keana Banfield medical fund..next thing she put up her appeal fund almost identical word for word for donations to 'Simon's'  fund...how sick is that?
