i wonder was simon halls mental health tested before he made this confession in the case of somebody who hadent been convicted it would of been but with a convicted man im not so sure.

I started to lose confidence in Halls claims of innocence, once I began to understand the arguments surrounding the fibre evidence.
I would doubt that his confession is anything other than an attempt to secure his release, at the earliest opportunity.
Would a prisoner such as Hall,
falsely confess to a murder in order to secure an earlier release?
