How disheartening that must have been when it reverted back,Mike. You can feel the hope in that letter,,poor man. All the knock-backs he's had is enough to drive the chap insane.

Hi Mike  why was Jeremy put back to CatA from the CatB what harm could he do to anyone he has been a model prisoner.  Did somebody object to this or what.

Susan Hi. That knock back must have been both sickening and heartbreaking beyond belief. What, or WHO could possibly have been behind such action?

I will answer everyones questions later on tonight - in the mean time, I am about to post a letter sent to me by Jeremy in which Ann Eaton offered to drop her knickers for Jeremy because her husband peter wouldn't have sex with her...

april  it is quite sickening and the action to be put back to Cat A must have come from outwith the prison service a request from somebody with some influence.  Perhaps Mike will tell us as he will know.  What harm could Jeremy do being Cat B it must be somebody who has a spite against him as he is no danger to anyone.

Absolutely Susan. One has to assume that if the prison authorities saw fit to "award" him an upgrade, they must have felt that he had earned it. It would seem very strange for the then Home Sec. to intervene in their decision unless he had been approached from another quarter.

It was the relatives who objected to the Cat B status,so before you could blink,,it was uprated again because " they feared for their lives ". Now in my estimation,,unless you've wronged against anyone, then you wouldn't/shouldn't fear for your life. It's the way I see it anyway.

Lookout, whilst I suppose it MIGHT be a possibility, I can't believe it was out of concern for the safety of the general public.

Nor can I April,,but that was the excuse,,though I don't recollect it being anything to do with the safety of the general public.!
