Hi Caroline  with regard to this panic button Ann and Peter said it was in situ Jeremy said it was installed after the murders.  I am trying to think of a reason why either parties should make this story up.  Any theories anyone.  EP would know but bet they would not tell.

Was it mentioned in court? If it wasn't then I doubt that it had been installed before the murders or it would have been mentioned before the murders.

Hi Mat  don't think we are meant to disclose where it is exactly but really only Vic knows its exact location and for the sake of the family he does not wish to disclose its exact whereabouts on the forum which I can fully appreciate.

I remember reading ages ago that the panic button was fitted, but it was not connected...Not sure about it at all. I can't see a panic button being near the sink, because that is where the watch was found...Its a mystery!

I'm sure it was under the mat in front of the sink. I have asked several times what happened to the watch, because it was damaged. I'd be interested in knowing at what time the watch stopped or if it had stopped at the time it was damaged.... :D :D :D :D

Hi Patti/Mat I thought the watch was found under the rug near to where Ralph was found near the Aga (steve uk said he hid it there so Jeremy could not steal it as it was very expensive so he will know where it was found)  I of course think it was knocked off the table in the scuffle and ended up under the rug as it fell during the scuffle.

I have to say that I find it very frustrating when known facts, like the installation of the panic button, written about and accepted as fact for 28 years, installed because of the threats made against Nevill in his work as a magistrate are now suddenly NOT accepted. Even Mike has talked about it and claimed the button was in the bedroom, which it wasn't, and I've never even seen bamber claim it wasn't there!! It was. Accept it. Move on.... lol

Hi Vic  I asked that very question on here a few days ago why would Ann and Peter have a need to have a panic button fitted after JB was convicted and sent to prison for life. IMO the panic button was fitted prior to the murders at WHF.
