What on earth were Barri and Keiths defence team up to, at the first trial?

Neil,,the same as the useless articles who were supposed to be defending Jeremy.

I feel that it's high time that a new sentence was bought into law. As well as sentencing the convicted person for the crime, if an innocent person has been imprisoned previously for the crime, the guilty person should have the same time added to the sentence they eventually serve.

Excellent idea.

Just seen this on Daily Mail comments section regarding this story:

What sort of a jury managed to convict two innocent men? By definition there cannot have been any evidence against them since neither of them committed a crime. So basically, with NO evidence (what evidence can there be against an innocent man?) one can still find oneself banged up for life for murder! A truly horrifying thought! Makes you think people like Jeremy Bamber just might have a point!

Thanks Denn, Keith comes across very well.

I was a little disappointed to hear Rachel's mothers comments about Barri earlier.  It's difficult to critisise the parents, as they must have been to hell and back, but to continue to lay the blame at Barri's door, considering the ordeal he's been through, is as I say.....disappointing.

The pain of their loss has caused them to be angry. I had the feeling that they would rather it had been Barri who was responsible because they thought he deserved to be punished.

Surely, in anyone's book, he's been punished enough already.
