Oscar Pistorius Gets Bail Over Reeva Killing

Now that the trial is well underway, I was just wondering what everyone's thoughts were.  I have been following the trial since the onset but cannot decide whether he is guilty or not. x

If I were Reeva's parent I would feel cheated if he gets off. I'd probably chop his arms off as well. This fascination with guns sickens me to my stomach.

I agree, I don't have the faintest idea if he's guilty or not.   No gut feeling, nothing.

Think you and Caroline are probably right, I am probably just trying to give him the benefit of the doubt, can't help it, would be a crap juror!!!

Maggie think you are drawn to him like so many females wanting to hug and kiss him and give him flowers.  He knew who he was shooting but of course regretted it after.  I read articles on him and he is not a very nice person outwith his vicious temper.

Does anyone wonder whether he will end up sharing a cell with Shrien Dewani? I know that's another controversial case altogether.  I've always had doubts about Dewani's involvement and suspected there was a possibilty that the SA authorities were trying to protect their own tourism credentials.   Watching Panorama on this only confirmed my fears.  Would have to say I'm 50/50 on Dewani.

Totally agree that Pistorious is a blind rage killer who is devastated by what he's done.  But he's more worried about him self.  What a cry-baby.  He's so scared of prison and is going for the sympathey vote.

I ask myself why did Dewani take his wife to one of the most dangerous areas people know to avoid such places.  I think he is guilty.

Guilty as charged! His story does not add up - at all!
I think they had a fight that night, she wanted to leave (she was partially dressed), maybe she broke up with him, he grabbed his gun and blocked the door, she ran to the bathroom scared out of her mind, locked the door to block him out. He ran after her and in a fit of rage shot through the bathroom door. Not once, but FOUR times. First shot was not fatal, it was to her hip. She must have screamed - he must have heard that and known very well who was behind the door, though he claims he did not (yeah, right!). Then he aimed higher and shot three more times.
Neighbours describe the sequence of shots they heard like this: POP.........POP.POP.POP
POP.......... <------- in this space Oscar heard Reeva screaming.
Guilty as HELL!

I hope he will be convicted - sick of his sob stories, whining (that VOICE!!), vomiting and crying. He shot his beautiful girlfriend, he should own up to it! Nothing but contempt for him from here!

P.S. Reeva had two cel phones with her in the toilet (don´t know why two?) If you have to take a leak in the middle of the night, do you bring your cel phones to the toilet? Nah, didn´t think so

Hello April  I agree with you he is now devastated at what he did but no excuse he is not fit to own a firearm and should go to prison.

I believe he is remorseful too and devastated about what happened; but a man like this is dangerous. His love of guns....
He fired a gun in a restaurant, I think it was into the ground under the table. When he realized what he had done and thought about the consequences, he persuaded a friend who was there with him to take the blame - because it would harm him, the famlus Oscar Pistorius!
What does that say about him!

P.S. He got a new girlfriend rather quickly after the murder....
