Happy reading Lugg...Can't wait for you to tell us all about it! How long does it take you to read a book?  It takes me forever...I'm reading Reg Kray's biography at the moment.  :) :) :) :)

Depends how interested I am in the book. I remember buying a book for a present to someone once. I kept opening the book very carefully and read it in one night. When I looked at the edge of the pages there was a black mark running all the way through. So I had to buy another one for them.

those Rettendon murders just prove that no matter how big and hard you think you are there are always bigger fish in the pond.

I think they were just as big inside than outside from what I'm reading.....Did you know that John Perfumo went to his trial....The 50's and 60's fascinate me..  ;) :) :) :)

I overheard my hubby earlier listening to Tony Tuckers answer machine messages. There were loads of them, all from people who had obviously heard news of the murders, but didn't yet know that Tucker was one of the victims. It was actually quite chilling to listen to.

I listen to that a few days ago....What I found interesting is the females that had phoned him...

I got confused with the name Tucker...I thought it was Lucky Tucker (Ian) Wonder if they were relatives?   :) :) :) :)

Have you seen some of the comments on Youtube about these men?
One poster wrote that he aspired to be like these people, i find that sad, very sad.

They seem to be hero worshipped by some who watch the video's.
Good riddance to them i say, drug dealing bullies. World is better without them.

They are very dangerous men Andrea and the young chap who knows them I advised to stay out of their company as much as is possible. I agree with you. They are not good roll models at all. Although I have heard they look after their women. It is possible women feel safe with them and that is why they go with them? It is only crooks that should fear them though and not the ordinary citizen. But it is wize to keep your distance from them though.

Hi Lugg, i was talking about the 3 men that were shot in Rettendon, it just falls short of hero worship.
They were scum as far as im concerned, no great loss.

Yes I found it difficult to find any sympathy for them myself.

I don't think that the steroids they popped like sweets helped. They appeared to be beginning to believe they were invincible!

Hmm, they come unstuck. I heard that one of those men rammed someones head into a glass counter the night before, over a Pizza or a kebab?
