Back to CAT's WS: in addition to the anomaly/inconsistency about seeing the roof of the tapas bar from PF's apartment and then later in the interview when asked if she went there said it had not been constructed when she last visited/when MM went missing; she also said she did not learn of MM's disappearance until she arrived back in the UK and read The Sunday Times on 6th May.  According to her WS she flew back to UK on 5th May.  I know for a fact that The Saturday Times 5th May covered the story on its front page with a diagram of 5A showing the relevant sites ie tapas bar where parents were dining.  And the new broke in the UK media on morning of 4th May:

Are we really to believe that the Tranmers did not have access to the news/media via papers, tv, radio in Portugal and UK until 6th May?

CAT claims her husband was contracted to the EU.  She also said her husband and aunt would discuss the EU and apparently her husband had a big book to write about it.  This implies it is someone interested in current affairs.  Therefore you would expect such a person to keep up-to-date with the news.  Did they not have satellite tv in their hotel room?  Or access to the BBC world service in their hire car?  No newspapers carrying the story at the airport?  Didn't see or hear anything in UK on Sat 5th May when she claims she returned to the UK?  Are we really to believe she did not learn of the story until she read The Sunday Times on 6th May?

It's as if there's almost stumbling block similarities to Jeremy Bamber's fight for proof of innocence.
To prove it was Sheila her 2 bullet wounds have to be explained. (which has been done on this forum)

To prove the McCanns are innocent the findings of the 2 sniffer dogs and cadaver scent have to be explained.

No.  CAT interjected herself as a witness and was seen as such no questions asked.  When she was seen by Reading police during May '07 she produced her efit.  Then PJ asked Leic police to undertake interviews with all witnesses and CAT was interviewed during Apr '08 as a witness.  Afaik her husband has never been interviewed by any law enforcement agency as either a witness or suspect which I find absolutely jaw dropping.  He was only meters away from MM on the Sunday 29th and Thurdsay 3rd.  Surely it would be an absolute basic to rule out such a person?

Afaik I am the only one who has a theory that does not involve CB or some other unidentified paedophile or the McCanns.

It was done on day one of the investigation by the pathologist who carried out the pm and said he saw nothing to contradict the murder/suicide theory.  It might seem unusual to you and others that those that die by suicide through gunshot wounds sustain more than 1 but not that's not what the forensic literature shows.

It has been explained.  I have uploaded several times the report into missing British child, Shannon Matthews.  The dogs were brought in and alerting all over the place in several houses.  Shannon Matthews was found physically unharmed.

Had PF been investigated on 3rd May, as would be standard practice in UK, based on proximity alone.  She would have been asked did you receive any visitors and had she answered truthfully then the Tranmers could have been tracked down on 3rd May.

Interestingly one of the questions CAT was asked during her April 2008 interview was whether anyone else visited!?  Never mind anyone else look at what was sitting in front of you!  (and the husband!).

The UK police usually conduct house-to-house enquiries.  But we know PF was not even interviewed until Aug '07.  This shows you the state of the investigation.

CB was and continues to be treated as a suspect despite the fact there's nothing linking him to MM.

The McCanns were treated as witnesses and suspects.

CAT was treated as a witness based on her own interjection.  CT has never been treated as a witness or a suspect despite:

- his proximity to MM on the Sun and Thu
- the fact he probably learned from PF that the children were being left, night after night, in the unlocked holiday apartment.

I would like to know on what basis these people were not considered witnesses/suspects?
