I love the Cornwell series, she's a brilliant writer who uses detailed research that she does herself. She's far superior in the legal and medical world than most people who write in that genre. She's also worked in that world for many years and spends months researching information so that it is all factual in her books - brilliant writer!!

No.  Not quite.  Kay Scarpetta is a fictional character... correct?

Correct. I think I read one of the books once. Are you suggesting I'm making it all up?  ;)

I have emailed a scientist in Newcastle...I need to know these things... :) :) :)

I don't know if you are aware, but her nightdress was only visually inspected and the none expert that looked at the bottom of her nightdress said there was no residue.  :-\ :-\ :-\

The levels on her hands were of someone who does day to day things around the house....

If this scientist does not reply, then I will email Cameron....Lol... ;D ;D ;D
Do you really think she could have loaded three magazines worth of ammunition, and fired all rounds, without there being any evidence of it?

An ironic compliment, is there such a thing? It's gone 9 and I refuse to think. Either explain it to me or I'll wait for Patti to come along and tell me  8)

Apposite and circumspect posting, David.
In that Guardian 1988 picture, do I detect Detective StanleyBrain Jones holdig hands with Jeremy?
It is incredible that you brought to our attention, that the real Dr Scarpetta ((Marcella Fierro)), supports the view that 'no moderator' was used.
In the words of Mandy Rice Davies, would Jones say - 'Well she would say that wouldn't she' ?

Do you mean the point you made earlier, that the lab assistants loaded different ammunition? I'm not sure if I already asked you this, but if the ammunition the assistants used was not comparable to the WHF ammunition, surely someone would have pointed that out?

It appears not...
