Evidence that DPP doctored witness statements

Here is evidence that DPP edited witness statements, in absence of witnesses, without their knowledge and consent, which they retyped, and got witnesses to sign and date, on some later occasion - if this does not amount to a conspiracy between the DPP, and its witnesses, I will eat my hat...

This was the point when the DPP got Peter Eaton to say that he had some involvement with the silencer found in the gun cupboard by David Boutflour, on 10th August 1985...

According to the contents of this edited version of the statement, prepared for Peter Eaton by the DPP, it appears that he handed over the silencer top DS Jones, on the same date that David and Ann brought the guns and the silencer from the scene, on 10th August 1985 - but other evidence which was doctored around this theme, suggests that it was noty until evening of 12th August 1985 that Peter Eaton handed over the silencer to DS Jones...

Now, which is it?

Did Peter Eaton hand over the silencer to DS Jones on 10th August 1985, or 12th August 1985?

Or, if the silencer was not actually found inside the gun cupboard, until 11th September 1985, how could it have been handed over on either of those occasions?

Note, no date, and no signature, on above witness statement...
