First of all...
Ds "Stan" the man Jones, did take possession of four exhibits from the scene on 7th August 1985, bearing the identifying marks of SBJ/4, SBJ/3, SBJ/2 and SBJ/1, the latter aforementioned being a silencer. The find of this silencer, along with the taking of the other three exhibits that day, is and was problematic to the police case that was eventually brought against Jeremy. Such exhibits that were found or taken from the scene had to be ghosted out of the records, so that there was very little chance of anybody discovering what had taken place. This involved the falsifying of logs kept at the scene which detailed how DS Jones returned to whf after he had gone along to Jeremy's cottage with DC Clarke to take a witness statement from Jeremy. According to the logs kept at the scene, DS Jones left the farmhouse twice, but only arrived once. This anomaly occurs because whoever falsified the logs, only wanted to show that DS Jones had not actually returned to whf once he had left the scene to go along to Jeremy's cottage - but return he did, and when he returned he took possession of the aforementioned four exhibits, from the region of or in the region of both the kitchen where the bodies of one dead male, and the body of one dead female had originally been found, and the downstairs toilet where Anthony Pargeter normally kept all his guns, ammunition and silencer...
Photographs which DS Jones took in the kitchen, and downstairs toilet, never found their way into any of the official photograph ablbums produced by PC Bird - not in the wrongly named MASTER COPY ALBUM, which contained 223 pictures, not in the SENIOR INVESTIGATING OFFICERS ALBUM, which contained 581 pictures, and not in THE COURT ALBUM, which contained 50 pictures - the reason for this was /is because the silencer (SBJ/1) he took possession of at the scene that day, was in one or other of those photographs. Not only that but those photographs had exhibit references that came into existence after the find and seizure of the said silencer, or in other words the four exhibits seized or taken by DS Jones that date were seized and taken in sequential order, and followed on sequentially after the find of the silencer (SBJ/1)...
No witness statement exists providing details of how he took possession of the four exhibits from the scene on 7th August 1985, and the other three exhibits marked SBJ/2, SBJ/3 and SBJ/4, has no corresponding mention in re-written notes in his pocketbook to confirm that he took possesssion of these on that date - this is because to mention the taking of them on 7th August 1985, after his return to the scene, places the date and find of the silencer marked SBJ/1 as having occurred on the same date, and before the other three consecutively named exhibits...
