Scottish independence

I rememeber as a young Scot wanting and willing someone to take us into coming generation with the will of the people of Scotland, I have marched to that same beat for many years and with people coming forward like Salmond,Swinnie and others it was easy for me to embrace what could and might be.
It is however a very insecure world we live in at this moment and the thought that the union maybe broken up and us at the mercy of these very same individuals is very scary to me. I love Britain and what has made us this great in times past. The question is where are we all at in respect to the referendum in 2014? those in all parts of Britain are effected by this also as the break up will be in essence a break up of what we have known all this time.
I am still of the opinion that the Nats have done a very good job of running Scotland to this point over the last few years but their 1st time in office came about without a real push towards the independence issue as that was what would have secured them victory. Now things are going to their heads a bit, tryin gto tell the country that we can stand alone.

Will it work.? I think not.

With the collapse of the former Soviet Union and the emergence of new states based on nationalism on the map of Europe, it might well have occurred to many Scots that they could do likewise. Leaving aside the arrest of three prominent party figures, Operation Branchform and the untaxed £110,000 motorhome lying dormant outside Nicola Sturgeon's mother-in-law's house, this must surely remain a heart over head issue, wishing to break up one of the most successful unions in world history. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/26FEkDDoKVc?feature=share

It reminds me of the Wagatha Christie Rooney and Rebecca Vardy case Steve, Rebbeca Vardy's agent's phone myseriously went missing overboard,
Rebekah Vardy’s agent dropped her phone in the North Sea as part of a concerted effort to destroy evidence, it was alleged on the final day of the “Wagatha Christie” libel trial.
