Lets get the facts right, gun and ammunition keeping at whf left a lot to be desired, since Ralph Bamber (Magistrate) allowed relatives, friends and farm workers to lend, borrow and take guns that were only licensed to be kept and used at whf in accordance with the terms and conditions of his firearms certificate, and shotgun licenses, issued by Essex police firearms licensing department...

Farm workers, relatives and friends of Ralph Bamber flaunted the rules when it came to gun laws...

Some of the guns which were loaned out, taken or borrowed are believed to have fallen into the hands of criminal underworld gangsters who operated throuhout Essex, Kent and boroughs of London...

RELATIVES HAVE TRIED TO MAINTAIN THAT EVERYTHING WAS HUNKY DORY, as far as the safety and security of all the guns and ammunitions kept at whf by Ralph Bamber and others under the conditions and terms of firearms certificates, and shotgun lincenses, but the truth of the matter is that relatives, friends and farm workers abused and flaunted the regulations and took whatever guns and ammunitions they needed because the knew that whatever they did, Ralph Bamber the Witham magistrate would turn his face the other way and see  nothing wrong in what everyone else was doing / did...

Once the shootings at whf took place, however, it brought everything into perspective, and guns taken, borrowed or given had to be reintroduced back into the fold...

One would have assumed that to lose track of the comings and goings of these firearms, was quite easy, unless there had been an arrangement in place that made each person responsible/accountable for what was taken and returned.

I think Robert Boutflour was an underworld criminal type, who was able to obtain crime intelligence from senior police officers in his pay...

He certainly knew how to find out sensitive information about anybody who crossed swords with him, information which the police had gathered about various persons, who lived in other countries, as well as UK residents...
