Bishop of Bangor tells congregation to take comfort that April Jones 'is in loving arms of God – but we want her home'
http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2012/oct/07/april-jones-machynlleth-church-service?newsfeed=true

I have never known a case where a missing person investigation has within days  someone arrested on abduction charges, suspicion of murder, then actual murder, when no confession has been made and information given to lead them to an actual body.  As someone else has already stated on this thread, the police are super confident they have their man and they are also convinced that it is a body they are now looking for.  It's all happened so quick and I wonder what it is that convinced them from an early stage that April will not be found alive.

Do we yet know on what evidence he's been charged with murder.? Either the police are keeping it quiet,or as yet they haven't found anything.

Hi Lookout, will try for the 2nd time! I wrote a full paragraph and whoosh!

I would think that they have enough evidence, otherwise the CPS would not agree the charges made against him.  It's unsure what that evidence is, but it has to be forensic or he could have admitted to what he has done, but refuses to disclose any more details.

But, on saying that, if he had admitted it then he would have been charged much earlier....Maybe he refuses to tell them anything? But if this is the case then surely they must have some sort of forensics...

I suppose we will see what happens on Wednesday, when he is asked the ultimate question.... :-\ :-\ :-\

Again,OnceSaid,,,we have a similar scenario to the Bamber case where police were still working on a " previous murder ",in Essex,,,and an attempted abduction where April lived,,,3 weeks ago.
Both cases went unsolved,so in order to justify the officers powers of detection, somebody has to be accountable.

the charge of murder was made at the 11th hour just like at the 11th hour the arest was changed from abuduction to murder and the aplication to extend the qustioning time was done at the 11th hour.

that could of only been done for the benfit of the press.

I thought he was in custody nugnug for 90 something hours, which is the maximum amount of hours one can be held?

They had to charge him or let him go.  They decided to charge with abduction and murder and, perverting the course of justice.  I don't think the charges had changed.  The arrest it's self was in connection with the disappearance of the little girl...I must admit I am not sure if the term abduction was used in the arrest.... :-\ :-\ :-\

I don't think it was nugnug....He was charged with murder, but not arrested for murder....I think there is a timeline somewhere of what happened each day, I was looking at it the other night....If I find it later on, I will post it....Or if you fine it first lol  ;)
