I can't understand why they have released his picture and name. Surely they must know something or they have just ruined a potentially innocent mans life? This case makes me sick to my stomach, you just can't be too careful when it comes to children. If she's in the river I don't know if they will ever find her, it was moving so fast on the news earlier. My heart breaks for her parents and I do hope she is found alive.

Hi Sparkle...You are all over the place lol

Yes, I agree with you, it is unusual to give the person's name to the press without charge. I hope she is found soon, it;s a living nightmare for her family.... :'( :'( :'(

I don't understand the reason why his name and picture was in the newspapers as they already had him in custody.  Today when an officer was asked if this man was known to police, I felt he wanted to avoid the question but he did say yes, but wouldn't say anymore which is understandable. I'm now wondering if the picture was released deliberately to see if anyone came forward to make complaints against him, seperate to their missing person enquiry.

Hopefully she will be found soon, unharmed .

Hi Maggie, I feel numb for the family concerned. They have had this guy now for nearly 48 hours and the police must make a decision of whether or not to extend custody.

It's really awful...but at this moment we don;t know if he is guilty or not....I find it strange that at first they said the vehicle was white/silver yet his range rover is dark blue....And to think his own daughter was there when April was picked up...

The press are getting on my nerves.....They interviewed this mans son earlier....

If he has done anything to her, why is he not telling them.....I hate people who hurt children... :(

According to the press he was known to the family.  I wonder when he shaved his hair as the photo's are very different?

I've been rather surprised about the fact that the childs' cerebral palsy wasn't mentioned the minute she became missed. Another important factor missed.

Why is this man staying silent, If he knows where she is, why isn't he telling the police?

He is still innocent at this time.....The search has been stepped up. The police have every professional service looking.

Bridger has appeared in court today to allow more time for questioning. If there is no success and they have no grounds to charge him, he will be released on Saturday..... :(
