They are still lingering Caroline R, so I think everyone should be on their guard. Having said that, I am also led to believe their actions are about to catch up with them..  ;) Mums the word...  ;)

I really don't understand what they get out of it - but then I don't have that mindset. Hope you're right, they deserve everything they get!

It would explain why a certain person seemed to single out particular members - however, I think they were eventually hoisted by their own petard and became totally paranoid about everyone! But it didn't take a genius to work out that they weren't a genuine poster because they were always involved either directly or indirectly in any and every argument! Of course it was NEVER their fault!  ;)
No caroline...never their fault, they just chucked in the grenade, or lit the blue touch paper and then claimed abuse. Clever and convincing up to a point but some of us were aware of it.

I imagine 'Mat' knew you would smell a rat Maggie...  ;)

Hum - maybe Oncesaid would like to explain what they meant... Seems a bit OTT to me..

Yes, I thought that journalists or the police paying individuals to cause disruptions on miscarriage of justice public forums sounded a bit far fetched, but nothing would suprise me anymore due to the lengths that the press will go to for a story, or the depths that the police will go to to cover themselves and ensure that the finger points away from them.

Here is the post where I first mentioned it.

It would be tragic if this forum was to close down.  As always it is the miscarriage of justice victim and their families, as well as their supporters that are the ones who will lose out, due to the trolls.  This is what they do.  Go from one moj forum to the next, causing disruption and playing one member off against another until no one can trust anyone.

If this was a craft forum or gardening forum it wouldn't matter as forums like that would recover as little damage would be done by the trolls  but due to this forum and others being involved in miscarriages of justice the damage is so great.

I was told a long time ago that there is people who are paid to cause this type of disruption within the miscarriage of justice world, divide and conquer being their aim.  The purpose being that if supporters and families are being kept busy with the trolls it is less time being spent on individual cases.  Also to get everyone arguing with each other so that individuals will retreat, as the less people involved in moj, the better.  Trolls also set people up with different scenarios hoping their target will fall for their plan, and before you know it the tabloids get a hold of it.

We all know who is behind it all, with his numerous usernames and ip addresses.  He has tried with every moj forum on the internet.  He has done on this form exactly what he tried to do on others, the only difference being that on this forum he was tolerated much more for a longer period of time, under his many different usernames.

To moderate this forum would be a full time job with the amount of trolls and troublemakers on it, the moderators tried their best but it became unmanageable lately and I dont think anyone can be blamed for that.  It would be a very sad day if all the hard work on this site is destroyed due to John Lamberton and his hangers on.

Mike whatever you decide to you, I just want to say that you are worth a thousand times more than John Lamberton.  I can't wait till the day he get his comeuppance.

Whatever you decide, you deserve respect and credit for everything you have done on this forum.

What a brilliant and insightful post,Oncesaid. It goes to show the lengths these folk go to,to TRY and sway those who have the slightest doubt.
I for one remain sure and steadfast that Jeremy is innocent and no amount of swaying nor persuasion of any sort would make me think otherwise.

Mike has been a marvellous " ambassador " for this particular MOJ,,,and to be quite honest,I don't  think things would have moved if it hadn't been for his work on this case.I admire him,and his sheer determination and it's a pity there weren't more like him. Those who've put the man down,,,,shame on you,,yet Mike has nothing to worry about on that score because it very likely goes over his head. It would mine too.

Keep up the good work,Mike,as what you've achieved will come to fruition sooner, rather than later.

I am convinced that sometimes this is true? In fact some go to so much trouble to disrupt various forums that it makes you think that either these people have a screw loose, or they have a financial incentive in what they do. I repeat what I said in the Jersey corruption thread. A cover-up can only happen from the top down. Those with influence control those who are in a weak position. Imagine if you will if a certain judge was being blackmailed? Perhaps because he has visited a Madam Whiplash for instance and he was threatened that if he didn't sum up in a certain way that various pictures would be publisized of him in a compromising position. That is how corruption can happen sometimes?

Hi Lugg  :).  I do find that post of Oncesaid so interesting and entirely believable.  There  appears to be no end to the devious behaviour of individuals and the state to control ordinary people who are seen to be a threat simply by asking questions and debating.
Excellent reply by yourself Lugg.

These things obviously do happen and I agree that there is certainly something very sinister in the way the Jersey Scandal just disappeared from the limelight as quickly as it came. However, as far as this forum is concerned - I'm leaning towards the 'screw loose' idea! Trolling this type of forum 24/7 is just weird!
