So...

DCI 'TAFF' JONES and DS Stan Jones go to see Jerrmy at his cottage on the aftrrnoon of 9th August 1985, to question him about a silencer they knew nothing about until evening of 12th August 1985...

And then you woke up...

And this is what you are relying on to show that a silencer was mentioned on the 9th of August is it?

Why is it dated 1986 and not 1985 then?

DCI Jones, and DS Jones, only visited Jeremy on 9th August 1985, Jeremy was in custody and therefore not present at 9 head street, goldhanger, in August 1986...

That isn't what it says though, as you well know.

The fact of the matter is that paint could not be ingrained into the knurled end cap of the silencer handed to police by Peter Eaton, on 13th August 1985, because the additional marks were not made on the aga surround until 12th September, 1985...

Funny how the reference to paint ingrained into the knurled end cap of the silencer, is/was added onto the original general examination record, dated, 13th August 1985, "paint noticed after resubmission of submission of silencer"...

But date Silencer was resubmitted, is conveniently ommitted...

Leaving it open to the suggestion that it was after the occasion the additional scratch marks were made on the aga surround on 12th September 1985 - police submitted one of the silencers to the lab' on 25th September 1985...
