Obviously I wasn't the mod who sent the pm because I was the mod who gave him the IP.   It's not difficult.

There was some suspicion towards Mat regarding the posting of the said photo, purely due to Mat mentioning on the other forum that he knew the IP address of the poster.  However, this suspicion arose only because I didn't tell anyone that it was me who had given him the IP address.  Nothing sinister.

You have been misled Mat.  Initially I believed you might have posted the picture yourself as I saw that you quoted the IP address on the Lamberton forum.  Since I knew you could not have seen that here my suspicions were raised.  I therfore sent the PM to Stephanie Hall, which she has kindly posted on the forum. I shared my suspicions with Roch and he then told me that he had in fact given the IP address to you.  My suspicions were therefore unfounded and my support for you over this issue was therefore genuine.  I do not know who posted the photograph of your son, but I could hazard a guess, as I am sure you can.

Thanks for the clarifications here Mat but you failed to mention Jackie wasn't involved either...!

Just for the record - Jackie has been accused of something similar in the past... for clarity; the photo in question regarding a previous members daughter, was in the public domain - the previous member accused Jackie of all sorts but lets just remind ourselves the daughter in question was over 18 and the photo was in the public domain.... (a suggestion to the previous memeber would be to take her grievences up with whomever placed it in the public domain in the first place).

But now that you can see for yourself how out of hand these situations can get (I cannot walk away - as I have an innocent hubby in prison and am fighting to clear his name).

Don't worry Mat - we will get to the bottom of it for you as the police are now involved.....

Lets face it; if someone has gone to all these lengths to find out about your son and post photos of him, that's pretty creepy and presuming he is under 18 - could turn out to be a criminal offence...

However - you may also want to tighten your security on your facebook - if this is where the photo was taken from and maybe consider in the future whether or not to share photos of your son on a social networking site in the first place... Just my thoughts on the subject.....

I hope you are able to resolve this matter and I do hope you are able to find out who the true culprits were.......

We never saw the photo in question so haven't got a clue what it's all about - let's allow the police to sort.. I take it you are happy for me to give your mobile number to the police to resolve this matter....

I forgot to mention Jackie wasn't invovled, I did say so last night though after I'd spoken with Jackie. Yeah, the picture was from a social media website and I've now ensured that all the settings are set to private to stop people being able to peak. As for the police, you're welcome to do so to clear your name but I won't be getting involved, not just because the picture was in the public domain so this isn't going to lead anywhere  - but because I'm already struggling  with my ex-girlfriend over visiting rights and if this escalates any further it is just going to create big problems for me at the moment.
Plus I also haven't been nice to certian members of these forums - and have aimed to out information on them as they have done to me - so it's all gonig to be tit for tat.

Sadly, as you have witnessed Mat, some of these forums are all about tit for tat imho...  that's why I can't be bothered to talk about my husbands case...

Please correct me if I am wrong - but you were/are concerned about the photo of your son being posted up and just last night said it was Jackie.

Now you know it wasn't; why aren't you prepared to speak to the police? This strikes me as odd... am I right then in thinking you are happy for us to be accused/abused etc for doing something we didn't but you aren't prepared to do anything about it?

Mat my husband was accused of murder and subsequently convicted at trial..... do you have any idea what it is like to spend 10 years in prison for a crime you did not commit.....

Steph - I'm sorry. When it happened I was angry. I shouldn't have blamed people until I knew about it . But I was livid and I was asked on both forums who I thought it would/could be - I  should have bitten my tongue.
No, I don't want to do anything about it. A complaint to the police from me over the re-production of a photograph on her meant to wind me up would for me be very embarresing and I wouldn't want to waste their time when even if they found out who it was there isn't anything they could do.
It's key to note though that anyone still saying it was you or JAckie probably knows that it wasn't and are just against you and trying to wind you up  - don't care what others think about you, and just stick with the people who know you are genuine.
Even on the red forum there are posts supporting you - so people know it wasn't you.#

I'm not saying that you should do this, Jackie - but usually the best thing is save it all in a big file and submit it as one. Not bit by bit. But I really don't see what is gonig to come of this Jackie, because you posted on the red forum yourself - and the comments you've made against NGB make it look like a war between so many people. I can't see what will be done.
