I know it appears like that sometimes, but it goes with the territory I'm afraid. Steph's only goal is to get Simon's name cleared and get him home. She has had to put up with a lot of negative behaviour over the years and it has made her very defensive.

I totally get that. I have huge admiration for them both, but she needs to understand that not everyone is out to screw her over. Sometimes people just want to help. Just don't accuse them of being John, or Craigie. It's silly, and it alienates people.

We all get accused of being everyone. I've been John Lamberton, Kevin Craigie, Hartley, Ann Eaton and Quentin Crisp. I think at one stage I was Ken Dodd, too. You just have to style it out.

I understand what you are saying but without knowing the abuse that Steph has had to endure I don't think you are entitled to judge. Steph is always open to someone helping on Simons case. Have you ever spoken to or met Steph?

Yes, Annie, I've spoken to Steph. We've pmed, got on really well, made each other laugh. Then we got on cross purposes. I'm not sure how, but now Steph doesn't trust me. So there you go. But I'm 100% certain that Simon is innocent.

I don't think there is any doubt that Simon is innocent, but as I said the trust issues come with the territory. Please don't judge someone by what you see or hear. That's what gets people into trouble and a bad name. If you have spoken to Steph (like you say) then you will know that she is a kind, genuine person with one goal in life ..... to clear Simons name and get him home.

There was some suspicion towards Mat regarding the posting of the said photo, purely due to Mat mentioning on the other forum that he knew the IP address of the poster.  However, this suspicion arose only because I didn't tell anyone that it was me who had given him the IP address.  Nothing sinister.
