Mike deciding to shut down the forum

From everything I've seen of Roch over a long period on the forum I've always found him balanced, completly fair, logigal, passionate and honest. Roch you did a great job and please don't take any of this flak / crap currently going on personally. One of the key posters of the forum without any shadow of a doubt.  If you're ever down Surrey or London way it would be great to buy you lunch or have a beer or two. VORTEX (as in Vortex ring).

Cheers.  There was a time when the forum didn't need mods.  Mike did a cracking job and he was supported by good will from the regulars, of which you were always up there with the best in my view.

This is entirlely up to you Mike. You are the owner of this site. I thank you for all the information you have shared with us.
If you do shut the site down I suppose those that are still interested will go to the official site.
It is a shame you feel this way, but it really could have been avoided.

What's all this about can someone explain to me, as I have been missing for a while...and it would take forever to wade through all the posts I have missed. I hope Mikes doesn't close this place down.....He has my full support, he only needs to nod...

Where have the Mods been? Awww red Squirrel, you will only see them up in Bonny Scotland...or far north of England...Do you know they are our native squirrel and the Grey one came from America...Useless info, for you...  Hope you are well...

Hi Patti  would I eat any jam other than Hartley's on special offer 2 jars for £2.  When I go on my walk tomorrow I shall take nuts and leave them near the tree (crazy woman) I feed the wild rabbits in my garden digestive biscuits must be the Scottish air.  The Mods had a few days off for a rest and now they are back on top form again.  Poor Bridget has been beside herself with worry about you

Brief synopsis. Few days ago, Graham desparate to become moderator again so pm'd Mike requesting this, completely behind the backs of ngb and roch who were told nothing. Graham reappointed by Mike. Within minutes he let back in previous posters such as Jackie Preece, Stephanie Hall etc. Graham then declared that he would right all wrong and continually undermined Roch (and by his appearance ngb).

Roch then ngb both resigned their moderator jobs as they had both been completely undermined by graham.

Forum descended into chaos with poisonous posts from a number of people esp Jackie and Stephanie. They apparently dont give a fuck about JB or his case, but would rather bitch.

For some reason not sure if removed or he saw sense, shortly after his takeover, Graham once again quit the forum.

Ngb and Roch reappointed mods and Roch immediately banned jackie and Steph.

Forum returning to some normality with healthy debate. QED
