Oh contraire Patti,
The catch was clearly a factor. Why are you suggesting otherwise? It is in Bambers statements - he even admits that he can easily get in through this way and had done so on many occasions. Why are you saying otherwise Patti? He even climbed in (witnessed by police) through the exact same window shortly AFTER he was questioned and the window was mentioned. Patti I am surprised that you havent mentioned this at all.
Why would it have to have been someone inside the house? Patti you are trying to make it all inclusive to everyone except Bamber............no dice I am afraid. Can it be that he climbed in through that window and moved the sink tidy that the farm secretary noticed in the following days and the smear on the window? - why have you failed to mention any of this? Why did you not mention that he climbed through the window AFTER the murders and this was witnessed by under cover police officers?

You mean the catch that PWC took on the 27th September or the one that Elliot looked at on the 1st of October....How can he have looked at it on the 1st of October when it was taken as exhibit RWC/8 on the 27th of September.

You really must read the statements...Because the stuff that was moved from the sink was when the police opened the kitchen window on the 7th August to let the smell out....This fact was disclosed in 1991.

JB Climbed through the toilet/bathroom window on the 16th of September and left a note to Barbara Wilson asking her to secure the window for him. Peter Eaton handed the said note to police.

On the 8th to 10th of September forensics did an extensive examination of the said windows and came up with nothing....

It was only after the 16th of September when RWC took the catch from the window....and when forensics did a 2nd examination in October it was noticed that the said window had been used....Which is correct it had...Sorry I offend you....

Au contraire means on the contrary Patti, he's not insulting you :)

The note he left for Barbara Wilson on the 16th was asking her to pay his solicitor, I don't know where this bit about asking her to secure the windows comes from, other than maybe Lomax's book?

Anyone who had worked out how to get in could have done so as well, for the timeframe WHF does not sound very secure, its isolation from the main road made it an ideal location for anyone to carry out these shootings and leave.

Patti,
it is obvious what I am trying to say here isnt it?? You stated quite clearly that 'it must have been someone INSIDE the house' What I am trying to suggest is that Bamber knew of a way into the house, and had used it before and after the murders took lace, so why are you excluding him? Please answer my question.
Incidently dont you find it somewhat odd that Bamber - after questioning and the police revealing to him that they suspected that he got in through the toilet window - decides to use that VERY window to climb through afterwards? Are you suggesting that the window was fully tested in September AND again exactly the same test was applied in October? Or was a more 'perfunctory' examination carried out in September just like the initial search of the farmhouse by police? Let's sort this out.

I said what I said about the extensive examination on the 8th of September. Forensics found nothing.

Now, if someone had entered in and out of a newly painted window the forensic team would have found something.  You either agree with that or you don't agree.

On the 27th RWC took the catch from the toilet/bathroom window. Exhibit RWC/8

On the 1st of October Elliot's forensic team looks at the catch on the same window and said it was scratched.....So what catch was that? Who put it there if R Cook took it on the 27th? 4 days before. Did RWC replace the catch? Also note that the outside of that window was fresh and clean........

Yes, why would Jeremy be so silly as to enter that said window.....I ask you...Jeremy had already admitted to getting into WHF.....When questioned he states clearly that anyone could have got in through any of the windows, but you can't close it and lock it from the outside....

I would know how to enter my windows, i think if you survey a million people you would have a high percentage of people with knowledge on how to gain entry to their own property.....Just because he knew how to get in, does not make him a killer.....Julie knew, the extended family knew....where they in the dock?  :) :) :) :)

A slightly confusing and obfuscated reply Patti. I would need to see the paperwork in which you refer. Cooks and Elliots and make a comparison. I have seen this sort of thing before on the forum using highly mistaken/misconstrued/error-ridden statements to back up points. Now are you certain it says that they LOOKED at the catch during the first examination? Is it recorded that they found absolutely nothing in the first search? How does this differ from Elliots?
Justa  few simple questions;
1. Is the paperwork relating to this catch correctly labelled?
2. Why haven't you mentioned the finding of a hacksaw blade outside the window?
3. You do not clear away a draining board to 'get more air into a room'

Patti, a million people don't murder their own families. I am merely replying to your inaccurate statement that it 'must be someone inside the house' this is clearly untrue. Bamber could have got in the house and you know it.
