Try the word 'if', it works better :)

I thought that by presenting alternatives plural, it would be clear I was not claiming proof.  Must try harder  ;)

No you're right. By the time I read that bit I'd forgotten the 'alternative slants' bit. I must have killed a few brain cells last night.

I apoligise for not reading all the pages before my reply but please take note of what i say. Many people critisise the trial judge for limiting the defendants to either JB or SB. But why? If you understand legal process this was actually a very accurate and brilliant descion by him. JB states that he recievded a call from his father saying Sheila has got the gun and is going berserk. That means the killer had to be either SB or JB or someone working on JB's behalf, in which case he was ultametly guilty. I personally do not believe in a third party. It was either JB or SB.

I agree Janet! I believe it was Sheila!

Isnt it just common sense? Jb alleges he gets a call from dad. But there is no proof of one. So how did jb know his family were dead unless he was there when they died.
He didn't know they were dead. The words he used before the raid team went in bear witness to this.

Also there was no proof that he told Julie Mugford that he's killed his family. But they still chose to believe her word over his without any corroberating evidence.

It's all speculation really. No one knows for sure, but if there is evidence of a call made to Goldhanger that night from WHF then it blows this case for what it was and that was a cover up. I honestly believe that BT could have traced this call, had it been done immediately, but like all the evidence it all appeared late in the day and none of it really proves the fact JB killed his family, nor does it prove he didn't.

Stick with the evidence and stay away form speculation is the only way to free this man if he innocent. Made up stories, will turn people away...for they will consider it bull shit.... :) :) :)
I am sorry to say it but the jury were swayed on pure speculation. A tactic that the BGB still use to this day.

Roch,,do you know anything about " old whiskey ".?  I have a bottle of 12 year old liqueur Scotch whiskey,,blended and bottled by Mackie and Gladstone,Birkenhead and Liverpool.
It's remained sealed since at least the mid-fifties and belonged to my late pa-in-law,who was a connoisseur of all things, but this has mystified me. ( he did have a Rolex Oyster, but it vanished after he'd died ! )

What words exactly? From what I have read Jeremy mentions the £15000 cost of the private psychiatric hospital to Dr. Craig and wasn't there some talk of a Porsche? I read that Jeremy does at some point say "My whole family are in there" but again this is ambiguous as we know full well what little regard he held them in.

Oh noooooooooooooo The porsche was a car kit...The police contacted the said porsche company and they had confirmed that JB had been in contact with them...He was going to buy that with his bonus of 2k from the caravan park.

Where does he mention the cost of the hospital treatment?  :)
