What I've never been able to understand is if Essex police were trying to keep this whole thing covered up and elaking - why would they give the photos to Jeremy's solicitor - sounds crazy to me. Even if they told him he can't show/tell people - just seems a bit pointless and as if they shot themselves in the foot.

Perhaps Smith called in a favour from someone?  Was this in the wake of disastrous 2002 appeal?  Bamber was dead and buried, decisively.  Perhaps the fact that the photos were somehow allowed to be viewed, should be seen in the context of the time?  Given what was plastered over the Express & Mirror, EP probably then shit themselves and tightened up their game.  There was a fight put up over the logs.

Say Ewan had the photo. Mike's admitting to nicking it, why hasn't it been put to good use.

I wasn't referring specifically to the alleged bed photo Tony, rather the batch that it belonged to, which caused ructions when the wet blood photo hit the press.

We have 3 or even 4 witnesses who testify that Sheila was on the bed at some point. That is enough to be counted as evidence in a court of law. Yet you still have those denying that she was on the bed and insist that she was found on the floor? Well they do say that unbelief is stronger than evidence.

Apparently Ewen asked Mike for help with moving the Bamber documents - I think this was after Bamber/Ewen worked together - and Mike didn't have an interest in helping Ewen out for whatever reason. So the case materials were then sent to whoever took the case after Ewen. If they haven't been looked through completely then they need to be, I understand there are hundreds of files/folders. But this is where the photo is - or was at one time.

So you believe JB as seen a picture of SC with one wound to the neck , even if the other wound is hidden  because of the angle the photo was taken ?

I don't know what to believe. Whenever you speak with anyone they have got a reason to tell you whatever they want - their version. I wouldn't be shocked if Bamber has seen it - I don't think he's said he has or he hasn't - Ewen could have got rid of it before sending the case files to the new team or the new team could have not looked through everything.

A lot of different possibitlites IMO.

Any chance of seeing the photo on the bed and/or the itemised phone bills from June/July 1985?

Do you know what happened to the copy that 'Z' handed in to the CCRC?

Why was it so important that 'Z' handed it in when you had a copy all along?

Why have you since 2010 posted many claims directly conflicting with a photo existing of Sheila, on the bed, with only one wound?

Why did you never mention this photo on either this forum or any of the previous two forums, set up to discuss the case?

Why does the defence team not make any reference to this photo or appear to delve into the matter further when it would fundemently discredit the prosecution case?

Why did GDS not claim it's existance when he was prepared to make various lurid claims?

How are you able to remember such specific details of the photo without referencing to it from your hard drives?

What exactly is the point of removing your phone battery to avoid detection when you were posting to this site your location minutes earlier?

Who exactly are you hiding from?

How did you know that the helicopters which you feared were following you, were on an exercise? Who did you phone to find out?

Why are you stalling on posting this material when you have posted so many other claims?

Hopefully Mike will take the time to answer these questions.

As I was around at the time......and was in almost daily contact with Jeremy during this time, I would like to add what I recall.....and no doubt will have the letters (somewhere) confirming this.

In brief:   the lead upto this, as I remember, was JB's request for withheld information.  EP had been ordered (by the courts) to forward certain information to Jeremy (or his solicitor).

We had been waiting a long time - when finally, some paperwork arrived....on it (I do not know exactly where as I never saw it), it had printed 'Not to be shown to the defence'.

Somehow, the paperwork in front of Ewen, was marked P&C......how did this happen?  Not only did JB receive 'some of what he had requested - but lots more! 

We did hear through a third party, but cannot verify this, that the woman who normally deals with such 'paperwork' was off work that day, and a substitute/temp had stood in for her.  Was she the one that mistakenly sent through this paperwork?

However, having said that.......the 'photo' did not come to my attention til AFTER the failed Appeal......JB was furious that Ewen had evidence during the Appeal and did not disclose it to him to anyone else.

Jeremy of course never saw the photo, I never saw the photo.......only Mike (supposedly) saw the photo! 

I do recall the days when Jeremy spoke to me about this photo......I recall how Jeremy was too.

If this 'photo' and its contents were to be a lie........I too would be upset.  But the more I hear about it, having been aware of it for many years...........the less I believe it exists! 

One has had ample opportunity to reveal it's content......
