Ngb - Big day tomorrow!  Have you heard anything as to whether JB and SM are aware of the result yet and also is there a certain time tomorrow when the result will be announced to the public and where should we look for this information.  I know it will feature on the news but is there a website or somewhere specific that we should be looking at. Thanks.  :)
Blimey Gillian, I thought I was impatient! :)

The last appeal to me was just not good enough there was nothing standout to warrant a referal, the latest one is better the silencer tests look good this application just has that bit extra with more credibility .
I don't understand why the silencer issue is so important.  At JB's trial the judge directed the jury that they could conclude that Shelia did not commit the killings even without reference to the silencer.

Neil - Thanks for that!  Assuming the decision is going to be made public tomorrow then JB and SM should know the decision by now but if it is going to be given to them tomorrow then a public announcement is unlikely until Friday I think!!! Either way I reckon JB won't be sleeping much tonight!  :)

I have not heard so I assume that Simon McKay and Jeremy have not yet been told.  My guess is they will be told first thing tomorrow morning and there will be a press release from the CCRC later in the day.  It is a tense time for all concerned.

Thanks for that Ngb.  Do you reckon you will be able to give us more information regarding the time of the announcement etc in the morning?  Do the family get to know at the same time as everyone else?  :)

I'm not a very good sleeper at the best of times so can't imagine what I will be like tonight.  Maybe we should both have a large cup of Ovaltine or Horlicks before bed tonight!!!  :) :) :)

I will let the forum know as soon as I have any news.  The family are given advance warning via their police liaison officer.

Hi Susan - Whisky is probably the only spirit I don't like although Southern Comfort is nice and that's a type of Whisky right? For me it would be a choice of Baileys or Malibu although Morrisons have an offer of two for £20 so could get both!  I sound like an alcoholic don't I but believe me I'm not.  I'm a single mother of two girls, the youngest being only two, and I would never drink whilst they were in my care.  Social Services alert over. Ha Ha.  Oh and also a 12 week old puppy.  Almost forgot about Harry.  :) :) :)

Great.  Thanks for that Ngb.  I expect the number of users/guests on the forum will reach an all time high tomorrow.  :)

Poor Jeremy, how will he cope if it's bad news. Can't imagine how dreadful he will feel.
