Julie was an atractive and intelligent young woman with a promising career ahead of her in the teaching profession. She also had a network of friends. Why would she want to bother herself with a boyfried who according to her talked about nothing other than killing his family?
She also seemed close to her mother who I understand met Jeremy on many occassions and who seemed to fully endorse the relationship.
Not sure if you've seen the thread on this site 'Jeremy bamber testimonials' July 04 2011, taken from a blog of that name, but one of these by Timothy Ernest says this:
"I also met Julie a few times but never understood why Jeremy was going with her as I thought of her as a sly and moody woman. She seemed inadequate as well as insecure and the pair were badly suited in my view."
Julie attractive? That's relative. Intelligent? Maybe, but not much common sense, else why would she, with such a promising career ahead, carry out the chequebook fraud and assist Jeremy in burglaring the caravan site, and take drugs?
Why would she want to bother herself with a boyfried who according to her talked about nothing other than killing his family? Her first response was to tell him to go back to sleep! It's only when he ditched her she decided to implicate him, and it took her 30 plus sessions with S. Jones to get her 'story' up to scratch. Plus the £25,000 NOW deal!
This woman is now a principal of an elementary school in Canada. I wonder if she would get a job working in the UK?!
