Mike it looks like you're attempting to portray some kind of bad acid trip for Sheila. Is there any professional opinions that could back this up, i.e. regarding what she may have experienced in an 'episode' or 'seizure'.
Hi Rocky,
Freddie said in his statement that during Sheila's penultimate psychotic episode, she no longer recognised members of her family. She believed her family and Freddie too were all demons. Freddie was afraid of what Sheila might do and feared for the safety of everyone around Sheila. These are massive hallucinations to have had.
I believe these hallucinations occurred prior to Sheila being prescribed Haliperidol and other mind altering medication - to damp down her paranoid schizophrenia and psychotic attacks.
Prior to the murders, Sheila's Haliperidol dosage was suddenly, dramatically reduced by 50%. Such sudden and radical reduction of medication was contrary to accepted practice. Schizophrenics and psychotics must be taken off Haliperidol very slowly and gradually, with the effects of small reductions of around 10% carefully monitored for adverse reactions before any further reduction is made. Sheila's response does not appear to have been monitored.
The other medication Sheila was on, one which counteracted the mood depressing effects of Haliperidol, does not appear to have been reduced at the time the Haliperidol was. So Sheila was under dosed on Haliperidol and over dosed on the other medication.
Given that poor Sheila hallucinated her family and Freddie into demons prior to Sheila being placed on balanced dosages of medication, I believe it may be quite conceivable that a drastic imbalance in her medication had Sheila dangerously hallucinating again.
