The matter is being considered by CCRC.  It's an extremely strong application.  As soon as I have news, I will circulate this.

Simon McKay has a good track record and I doubt if he would express such confidence without justification.  Of course nothing can be taken for granted but the prospects appear good.

Yes I am sure this will all be made public when the CCRC announce their final decision.

My guess is around the end of March this year, unless the CCRC decide that further tests are necessary.

That is a possibility.  They could as an alternative fund additional work to be carried out by the same experts.

As taxpayers, yes.

yet as taxpayers we have no say , and i question them as experts common sense and logic will always stand taller.

I'm certainly no expert.  But my impression here is that the current findings might prove difficult to assail or detract from.  Most of the wording in the Guardian article was strong and the article was merely a precis of detailed reports.   The experts involved also looked to be on top of their game.  Furthermore it appeared everyone involved had backed up everyone else.  McKay's words either side of the submissions have been concise and strong.  Just my take on things. 

I do wonder if there is more yet to come but I'm unsure of whether any further submissions could be made.
