Tefal Actifry
« on: December 01, 2011, 11:00:PM »
Good evening all

Completely random subject I know, but I'm just wondering if any forum members own or have used one of these, and what their opinion is of it?

So, it is a healthier way to cook, ok, but what about the taste of the food? I am thinking of investing in one, to replace my clapped-out old fryer, but I don't know anyone who owns one.....and other than chips, what have you cooked in one?

Thankyou for any feedback.

Funny you should say that Rochford, I considered one of those some years ago, Lakeland do them, and they look pretty good! I've got a slow cooker which I love, but I'm thinking that the Actifry is an all-rounder, can probably do so much more than a fat fryer.....

Funny you should mention slow cookers.  There's a one in our cupboard made by Pifco.  It's never been used.  It looks pre '85.  Pristine condition.  I've got mates who swear by them.

I bought my younger brother one around 12 years ago, and its only been used twice, and that was by me when I visited!
