When i was with the funeral service a girl from school came for work expierience at our funeral home, she kept in touch after she finished, she turned very ill and i went to see her in Leeds General Infirmary, the brave mite was transferred to Scunthorpe, in her last hour she asked to go to another funeral home in her words i dont want the lads to go through it, she  died in her sleep, i broke into tears at her funeral emma was just turned 16 , no nothing comes near to that ,i will never be a parent but on that day i felt like one.

Absolutely yes, i couldnt imagine anything worse than loosing a child, i would rather be locked up for the rest of my natural life than loose on of my children, by the way, have you ever witnessed first hand the effect of loosing  child has on a parent? i have.

My husband lost his son, and my sister-in-law lost her daughter. Both were by suicide.

His son died over twenty years ago, and his neice 3 months ago. I don't know how he made it through the funeral, but it affected him badly, probably because it brought back bad memories.....

Andrea you have never spoken to Jeremy you have no idea how he feels and how he gets by day to day and how he speaks lovingly about his mum and dad

I can feel his hurt at times and it's unbearable and I don't know who z is but I will listen to what Mike says until I find out it's not true

Andrea you cannot possibly know that losing a child is worse than being branded a child killer for 26 years
You have no idea try asking Mike about Jeremys life in a cat a prison

The people who set Jeremy up have probably taken away the chance of him ever having a child

All Jeremys family have been murdered and he will probably never feel the love of a child

If hes innocent, then it will be horrendous i have no doubt.

But i will bet my salary on it, that the pain felt by Colin Caffell will be far worse.

There may be a chance jb is rteleased from his nightmare, Colins will never end jack, ever, his children are dead and wont be coming back.

Colin has got another child something that Jeremy will never have and he's got no family left you cannot possibly say one is worse than the other

Jeremy could come out of prison tomorrow and get a billion pounds compensation but he will never get over this.
Never ever
His life has been ruined and nobody knows what the future holds for him

Andrea imagine if someone had told you that you could never ever have children that's what Jeremy was told

Jack, are you a parent?  As a parent i cant possibly imagine anything worse than one of my kids dying.

What colin caffell has been through imo is far worse than what jb has been through, Colin could have another ten children jack, it makes no difference, they wont replace daniel or Nicholas.

Like i said jb could be released one day, his nightmare over. Colins will never end.

but we will have to agree to disagree on this.

I think we should all pass on this as I find it too distressing, I was having a quiet sob reading this with my lovely grandchildren next door.

Err... it was you that started this discussion by asking which was worse, and now you say "you cannot possibly say one is worse than the other"  ::)

There is a chinese proverb where there is nothing but evil good will always grow, both Colin and Jeremy  are victims they both have lost, when their worlds have fallen apart the only thing left is each other lets hope its not too late .

The two situations are incomparable.  Both a nightmare yet each a different nightmare, even though they have a connection with each other.  I do not feel there is anything to gain from attempting to compare them, other than to attempt to comprehend the full tragedy of WHF.

Nice words Mertol I hope when Jeremy is released he has something to live for he has the hardest road ahead of him and I just hope he makes it on the outside.

Rochford unfortunately I think a lot of people are under the impression Jeremy will get out of prison get millions of pounds and his life will be hunky dory but you only have to read stories from people like the Guildford Four and the Birmingham six to know life after prison can be as big a nightmare as being in prison

I think the biggest thing is trust and if Jeremy can learn to trust again

I visit Colins web page every so often i have his mobile number i could call him in the next few moments, but i see all so clear now Colin decided to go on walk tall and go on living many would have not, if Colin needed a will to live he found it , he has to go on for his children , for Jeremy there is still time to enjoy a good life its not over yet and that is perhaps what keeps Jeremy going , justice.

I remember Colin saying that now he lives where he does nobody knows him there and that's the way he wants it. I shouldn't think he would welcome a phone call by someone who wants to drag all this up again?

I think if Jeremy is proved to be innocent it could have a massive effect on Colins well being because in his head he might blame himself.

Not a nice thing to be going on at the moment for Colin it's probably dragging everything up again

I definitely believe Jeremy would like to make peace with Colin though

Thats not the point i was making Grahame  i was referring to his work, my friend is an artist and he thinks Colin has a special gift its so evident in his work, i could just as easy buy a small piece of pottery for a gift to my parents, if i were to contact colin it would be about his work, just as im expecting a phone call from my friend tonight the artist about his vargas inspired work.
