i havent read the novel choc, but i could listen to the song all day, i watch th red dress version on youtube, i prefer it to the whitedress one.

I like both versions, Andrea. I like the white dress version for its spectral quality and the red dress version for its location. The film is good too.

Eve Chocho , I tried to read the Bronte novel but had to give up i found it too deep, Kate was able to stir the sole the only other female artists i thought who could also were toyah, hazel o connor , enya, dee d jackson all women a f ===ing way ahead of their time

 i liked toyah when i was a kid, i used to do a silly dance at the school disco to her songs, i thought i was great, i looked a twat really.Good times  ;D

was  on youtube late last night Andrea, viewing female artists, i think the single cover of man with child is of a young kate, she also did some weepies , army dreamers and breathing

eighth day by hazel oconnor was good, from the film breaking glass i think.

i liked siouxsie and the banshees, and yazoo!! Alison moyet has a great voice.

Siouxie and the banshees, happy house, israel, and the awesome red light, eighth day yep breaking glass, its mainly female artists with the guts and power, Grace Jones , Strange, Suzi Quatro , i saw Toyah once 1982 Sheffield City Hall, just under 5ft fit as hell she was,she had her i want to be free costume on, friends with honey bane on myspace.

i never had an opinion of grace jones,other than she had dodgy looking eyes!

have you been watching the jackson trial, i only catch a bit of it on a night, i miss it because im at work when it starts.

raining here today, not heavy, autumns back  :o
