Anthony Pargeter was not questioned about whether or not he would benefit from the state of Ralph Bamber in the event that Jeremy was convicted of his murder?
Unbelievable. This makes me so angry. Most of the allegations about Jeremy's alleged motives hinged around his alleged desire for his parents' wealth. Many of these allegations seem to have originated with the extended family. Yet the court seems to have heard little evidence of how much other family members - and Jeremy's former girlfriend - who testified against Jeremy stood to gain if he was found guilty.
Why on earth wasn't AP questioned about this? The court had a right to be made fully aware of AP's and the rest of the extended family's conflict of interest in this case. The court had a right to know that a number of people stood to gain substantial sums if Jeremy was found guilty - and to lose substantial sums if Jeremy was found innocent.
This case was presented to the court in such a distorted and one dimensional manner. Half the key evidence was either missed or deliberately withheld.
This is of such importance because this huge body of missing and withheld evidence denied Jeremy Bamber the fair trial that every citizen has a right to.
