The DB phone call about the silencer ...

In his statements Pargetter spins the line that the alleged phone call from DB was made "after" the 10 th of august 1985.
In his interview with COLP he has changed his story  to this alleged call being made on the 10 th of august itself.

those who know the case will realise his original story did not tie up correctly so exposing that it was false and it needed to be corrected with a version that may tie in with others stories.

Hi tone, dave here. I have found a silencer apparently the cops are not interested in it because they have handed the keys back to us. Tone can you remember what it looked like. No not your silencer, but the other one.
Well Dave it was in pristine condition
Tone the one I have has got as scratch on it.
Dave get your hands off it and hand it to the cops.
I think I will give it to Ann, and Peter can hand it over in a couple of days.
OK Dave, but keep me out of it.
No probs Tone, see you later.
Oh by the way my old man is going to see some of his mates later, because that Taff Jones threatened to kick us out of his office, the nerve of the man.
He is not aware of the power of the masons.
You had better get your arse round to the farm, because you have only got a few days to get your rifle out of it.
OK Dave see you there in a day or two.
By the way who are you going with?
Not sure Tone, Dads not sure either, but I am sure we will find something in the den.
Catch you later Tone,Ok Dave, remember not to mention my rifle.

Is it me or is this man the ones that's confused.  He said he had went looking for his brno .22 rifle as it was not in its normal place of storage which he said was the groundfloor lavatory and shower room.  This was on the 28th-29th July 1985.

He had to ask where it was and was told to try the den, It wasnt in view so he looked inside the cupboard and it was there in its solid plastic tan coloured case, minus the bolt. The anshutz was also there in the cupboard, he said.

He goes onto say he took the rifle with him when he left whf on the 28th, as it wasnt the place it was habitually kept.

Why did he say the lavotary/showeroom was where it was normally kept, but then make a point of saying he took it home as whf was not where it was habitually kept, yet he had left if there in Dec 1984, which was 7 months previously.

As we now know Pargetter's claim that he took his rifle home after spending the weekend at whf is utterly bogus and a blatant lie it also follows that his wife must have known it was a blantant lie as well.
What a nasty couple to lie like this!

Having figured just what length of lies they will go to and the morality level of this couple then both have lost any sense of credibility.
If Regine gave Anthony an alibi for the night in question then this must be viewed as unreliable considering her keeping hush on the rifle/silencer issues. In effect his alibi ..if it was from Regine would not hold up and could be challened strongly.
