Were the contents of the police radio message logs falsified to suggest that a female body was found downstairs in the region of the kitchen, as part of the cover up to get around why Sheila ended up being accidentally shot for the second time in the bedroom by the police?

Did PC Collins introduce that part of the evidence about seeing a dead female in the kitchen through the kitchen window, as part of the cover up?

Did he introduce the story about the mistaken identification of Ralph Bambers body for that of a dead female once he got into the kitchen, later on when the decision was taken to prosecute Jeremy for the murders, and the police no longer felt there was any need to continue with that part of the cover up, since they could simply imply that Jeremy shot and killed Sheila, and that he stage managed the body, and that he must have shot her twice?

In addition, where does the missing "officers report" about the shooting incident downstairs in the kitchen fit into the scenario of events?

Why has that report not been disclosed?

How did bullet PV/20 which was a fragmented piece of bullet on 7th August 1985 when the pathologist removed it from Sheila's neck, become transformed into a whole bullet by 20th September 1985, in time for Jeremy to be prosecuted for the murders?

Mike are you back-tracking on the credibility of the logs, where one dead female is found upon entry? Or are you solely referring to the statement of Collins?  The wording of some posts today would suggest that very new info has come to light?

  • What is in those 200 boxes?
According to David Shaws account, there was some sort of a reconstruction involving senior officers and members of the raid team, in the main bedroom, where DCI 'Taff' Jones used a broom handle to demonstrate how Sheila could have inflicted the second shot to the throat, by a process of recoil? Such a reconstruction could only have occurred before PC Bird (SOC) started to take his crime scene pictures at and from 10am, since by that stage the body of Sheila was already set out on the bedroom floor next to the bed with the rifle upon it and the bible in attendance...

I find it hard to imagine DCI Jones using a broom handle to carry out this exercise, and believe that it would have been much easier for him to pick up and use the actual weapon - and was it at such a time that the rifle went off and inflicted the second wound to Sheila's neck? Was Sheila already dead by the time the second shot wounded her, and was it the police who accidentally shot her for the second time during the reconstruction which Shaw has spoken about? If so, which weapon was used in the reconstruction?

That COULD be the case, not at all impossible. It would explain a lot of things.
Good grief, this case is so odd and such a MESS!

That's an ambiguous reply. Which of the two questions are you answering?
