JB didn't have an AM pre murders so its a pointless question.

Yes he did have one.

CC's stance with the AM is -

She does not believe Nevill would have rang Jeremy if he had one.

She does not believe that Jeremy had an AM.

Yes he did have one.

If he did have one very strange why the police were not all over it?

No mention of it from Julie either?

Do you believe Nevill would ring Jeremy at 3.00am if he knew he had an AM?

Yes of course why not? The AM only cuts in if the phone is not answered anyway.

Do you think Jeremy would have woken from sleeping 'like a log' upstairs, realised the phone was ringing, decided to answer it & got downstairs to the phone before the AM switched on?

This could be several minutes.

AE said it was an ackward journey from his bedroom to the phone.

Not sure why Nevill would go through the rigmarole of ringing Jeremy's AM if the police were on the way.  As Rob believes.

So this was probably in Nevill/June's bedroom - removed by Bamber and hidden to explain why Nevill had to come downstairs to the kitchen to phone him.

Do you have any evidence for the above?

Agree with that.

The police surely would have clocked it and utilised it if they could use it to his detriment.

No mention of the AM in the entire case from EP.

Only options you can arrive at is EP missed a trick or they didn't believe the AM was detrimental.

You ring a persons phone.

The AM activates after a few rings.

You put the phone down redial.

The person answers.

Very little in transcripts ofJeremy being challenged by EP on the call. Stan moves on to another subject.

Jeremy said he would switch it off when home as he was in to take calls.

Of course guilters will be skeptical.

For me I don't see the AM as detrimental and it appears EP shared my sentiments

The prosecution case may have been that he rang his AM & let it answer - 'rang his cottage'.

Saw an archive news clip where the reporter said Nevill Bamber had rang his son in a near by village.

If I had seen that in 1985 I would think why would he ring his son? That would be before I even knew he had an AM.
