Michael O'Brien comes out to play every few years on the Jeremy Bamber case.

Maybe got a fee for The Sun article.

Was an alternative person charged on his case. Or is it a Barry George/Sion Jenkins situation?

"Powers that be" - who are they?

I suspect Essex Police had a hand in this and possibly the Home Office.

Wonder if it is true that the relatives went to MWT's Bamber show in Southend-On-Sea?

I believe it is true.

I believe it is true.

Well assuming the format was the same as earlier shows, whereby the audience was invited to judge on innocence or guilt at the end of the show, I wonder if the relatives changed stance?!

Do you believe Essex Police control everything? Do Essex Police do things like employ people to post on Facebook arguments for Jeremy's guilt and sent police officer to sit in the audience of Mark William Thomas's production and vote for guilt? Do they control the CCRC and the Court of Appeal?

What an utterly stupid question.  It does not even warrant an answer.

It might sound like a stupid question, but I see many supporters say precisely what I asked.

So is that a "no"?

Obviously it is a "no".  Nevertheless I believe that pressure has been brought to bear on HMP Wakefield as a result of recent press coverage arising from the New Yorker article.  Essex Police were clearly very concerned and the Home Office/Prison Service almost certainly got involved.  There may also have been pressure from relatives via their "sympathetic" MP who has form on this.

How can Essex Police apply pressure to HMP Wakefield, over a 40 year old case?

Easily, via the Home Office.

Do you seriously think the Governor of HMP Wakefield has done this of his own volition?  Why would it worry the prison or its staff?  Why do you think it has happened?
