When and where did AE have access to good quality blood of a certain quantity from SC in order for FSS to secure blood test results for the enzyme and protein groups?  She didn't.

How would a rural Essex farmer ie AE know about the drawback phenomenon?  No one other than those in the forensic science community would have this understanding and even then it would be considered esoteric.

AE could not possibly have known whether or not EP had already photographed the area the scratches were found.

AE was a farmer and lacked the criminal mindset and forensic know how to contaminate the silencer.  Her crime was to go along with DS Jones' claim that she and the other relatives overlooked the traces he claims he found on picking up the silencer from the Eaton's farmhouse.

Do you believe over the bottle or whiskey DS Jones and PE cooked up the idea to frame Jeremy?

Well DS Jones was, according to Dr Vanezis, an early dissenter so I think he was receptive to anyone who shared his views.  I think PE told him the whole family thought JB dunnit which obviously chimed with his own views.  PE may have said words to the effect if you pull out all the stops we will see you alright  ;) ;) ;)
DS Jones then left with the silencer and I think it very quickly became apparent to him how this could be used to implicate JB.  DS Jones was an officer of long experience and would have the wherewithal to go about fabricating the OUTSIDE of the silencer which imo he did before handing it in to EP/DI Cook to take to FSS with other exhibits.

Did DS Jones:

- Know small blood stains were only capable of confirming blood and human in origin?  Yes (so could simply use his own blood on the OUTSIDE).
- Have access to SOC photos to know where he could and could not scratch?  Yes
- Know he could scratch silencer?  Yes
- Have access to a grey hair?  Yes

Did RWB make reference to finding blood on the silencer in his diary entries?  No
Did AE make reference to finding blood on the silencer in her card system and/or 14th Aug wit stat?  No

I rather think if the relatives found the silencer in the condition they later claimed they would be like rats up drainpipes demanding EP visit WHF or Oak Farm immediately for collection.

The case is simple imo:

- DS Jones fabricated the outside
- Relatives perjured themselves claiming they observed the contaminants when they handed over to DS Jones
- DS Jones secured JM's testimony by way of all sorts of threats.
- Snr bods at EP/DPP, believing the above was all authentic, put pressure on FSS to come up with something that sealed JB's fate ergo 'blood flake' which matched SC's blood groups.

Your silencer ground was rejected -

Silencer: blood and ballistics based on forensics/science: biology and physics.

Reason for rejection - No new evidence.

You accept then they had to be a monetary incentive from the family to DS Jones.?

In 1975, West Yorkshire Police bullied Stefan Kiszko into a confession. A vulnerable tax clerk who was a mummy's boy and although of average intelligence, socially awkward and vulnerable.

Like it or not even if DS Jones had an intense dislike of JB, he wasn't or wouldn't be a easy feat to stitch up. Educated guy, headstrong confident, and soon to be wealthy. Not vulnerable.

Without money incentive on a substantial scale DS Jones would have been potentially on a massive road to career loss, charges prison etc. It would be a really risky feat.

Can you imagine if it had gone tits up and you were seen to try and fit up a bereaved grieiving man? Who had lost his entire family.

How does your question relate to my post to Adam?

Yes I think there was probably some sort of financial incentive.

JB was and is vulnerable in terms of not having family support.  SK had his mother who was a formidable and steadfast advocate for her son/SK's MoJ hence his conviction was overturned in less than half of JB's sentence to date.

You seem to overlook JB's case is 40 plus years old.  No checks and balances.  No digital audit trails.  No robust management and oversight.  DS Jones would know exactly what he could get away with.  I can't see anyway in which DS Jones was going to get caught?  By whom?  And how?

I'm fully aware JBs case is 40 years old. I was getting into trouble since a 14 year old from 82 onwards I'm well aware of 1980s policing although in my case South Yorkshire.

DS Jones would only stitch JB up if a substantial pay cheque came his way on a solo basis.

So why do you doubt the police regularly fitted up when it happened regularly?

I think he probably was financially incentivised but plenty of officers fitted up without a financial incentive.

I have for some considerable time wondered whether SBJ had let something important slip when he was sharing drinks with PE et al. If this information was of a nature that was embarrassing for EP he may have been told to put things right.

Jones was just suspicious of Bamber. Along with Bews, Miller, Julie & the relatives.

No surprise there. The police would be used to be being given unconvincing stories. The relatives knew the family & Julie knew Jeremy.

It was only a month before Jeremy.was charged. Despite him being able to insinuate Sheila from the moment he met the police at WHF. He made a lot of mistakes before, during & after the massacre.

There is no reliable evidence that Bews, Miller and JM were suspicious of JB in the immediate aftermath unlike DS Jones and the relatives.

CC knew SC well, being her former husband, and he did not suspect JB.

The mistake JB made was allowing his relatives to have any involvement especially giving them a key to WHF.  He was naivety personified.  He was unable to see his relatives for what they were/are and that is shameless vultures.
