Reading this comment. I thought to myself, never underestimate the Americans to produce the most pointless gun accessories, and lo and behold.

Very interesting, I had never heard of this.  I cannot imagine how it would be used.  A shotgun is not normally aimed, it is pointed at the target which is usually a moving target.  American sometimes use a shotgun with a single slug rather than pellets for a large animal at close range.  That would not be done in the UK.

I will, and whilst I'm about it you can practise custody of the eyes..https://saralandchristians.com/sermons/2020/1/17/overcoming-lust-matt-527-30

That's a bit extreme ie cut off your right hand  :o  Assume Jesus wasn't left handed then?  ;)

I don't lust after, for example, Hugo Bachega.  I just think he has a nice face and physique.  I also like the way he waves his notepad and pen about, as opposed to some electronic device, and his reporting style  :)

If you ask me. Once a shotgun is loaded with slugs, its no longer a shot gun. Its basically a mini smooth bore cannon or a modern musket if you will.

I agree, and in the UK for a shotgun to be loaded with slugs it has to be categorised as a firearm and requires a section 1 firearm certificate rather than a shotgun certificate.  You very rarely see this in the UK because in reality if you want to use a slug rather than shot you are better using a rifle.

My Grandad had a rifle with two barrels (like the one Roland Tembo used). Very unusual.

Doble barrelled rifles were often used in the 19th and early 20th centuries for hunting big game.

He hunted Elk.

It would work for that.  Normally bolt action rifles are used for that type of hunting now.  There is greater accuracy.

Luke's gospel highlights the importance of women, so I don't have an issue.

.. and there was Deborah:

Judges 4:4 "and Deborah, a woman, a prophetess, wife of Lapidoth, she was judging Israel at that time ..." (translation mine)

As a prophetess and judge, she held quite considerable power! I wonder if she judged any capital crimes.
