I have pointed this out before. Also they would have removed such items that would not have been incinerated in the cremation process.

I have referred to orthopedic hardware causing the marks.  This was used long before the plane crash.  And how do you know NB did not have further back surgery at a later date?

Were fillings removed?  I seem to recall there was some dispute between AE and JB over June wearing her engagement ring at cremation.  Were bullet fragments removed?

You, Bubo and Snow are three of a kind.  I should not be indulging any of you.

ITV  drama did him no favours.

" The bastard killed a dog "

The murky tale of selling pictures of Shelia, later denied.

Him being portrayed by Freddie fox as an arragont bastard.

Every time he's on the news they show the grinning smug walk of him going to the jail van.  He said he was smiling at friends.

Impressions if we like it or not count.

They do, indeed! Those with whom he chose not to mix, fellow young farmers, certainly saw him as such. He gravitated towards those whose ambition in life was making money and living the life that such provided.

The trouble for Jeremy is the general consensus for most people who look into his case believe he was rightfully convicted.

His supporters are seen as cranks and women who " Fancy him " Because he was a good looking guy back in the day.

He is a sugar and spice charchter.

The window for Nevill to call Jeremy was very narrow. But also very generous.  We have to assume Sheila did not chase Nevill after shooting him & spent a long time re loading & shooting the twins.

I don't believe anyone believes Nevill would make the choice to call Jeremy in that window. But appreciate people think he deserves a referral on a technicality.

I would hope the CCRC don't hold this against him

There's nothing compelling enough to overturn the original verdict.

He didn't get lucky in 2002 as Adam puts it, the ccrc saw it credible the COA judges later dismissing it as " Too complex and broad.
He did piss the judges off by adding stupid grounds though such as " Discussion of a Porsche" He went gung ho, he thought he was walking in 2002.

He got lucky in that DNA was a new thing. His use of it not very convincing.

DNA has helped both individuals & the justice system over the decades. More convincingly.

You post as if you were there??? The point is that no one knows what happened between JB leaving and the police entry. I have said it before and I will say it again. All manner of movement by the adults is possible so you can make up whatever scenario you like about what happened in this time frame. Movement of telephones etc. Even the police do not have a minute by minute record of who did what to who and when. The police can come up with a rough idea but if the police made changes to the crime scene then however much we speculate we are unlikely to work out exactly what happened.

This is one reason for the Aga MARKS to be examined.
Before the supposed Aga burn marks can mean anything, someone has to prove police moved Neville from the Aga to the chair,  why they did it,  when, how many officers were involved, and why it appears nowhere in the records or POLICE/raid team statements.

Speculation of movement doesn’t remove the burden of proof, the burden of proof has now shifted from the Prosecution, it now becomes the Defence who has to show the conviction is unsafe, and the CCRC don’t work on speculation, they have to be satisfied that there a real possibility the Court of Appeal would overturn the conviction?

At trial the prosecution had to prove guilt,  post conviction it is not required to answer speculative suggestions unless the defence can produce new evidence,  such as proof that police moved Neville from the Aga and  capable of showing the verdict is unsafe.

I'd welcome the 999 call being referred to the CoA - otherwise we'll never hear all the details. I don't think a hearing would take long and no experts should be needed - so not much public money would be wasted. I wouldn't want the Aga referred as that would cost more.

In reality neither will be referred.
